Pluses And Minuses, But Iâm In Love
This is that sexy! This Luminox Atacama automatic field watch has a combination of factors that hit my âsweet spotâ in a big way! First, âolive greenâ would not have been my choice in strap or dial color on a watch (any watch). However, the green on this strap is about as charming a color as Iâve ever seen. It compliments the dial color and looks amazing. The watch strap felt very stiff out of the box. So, I was expecting a level of discomfort when trying it on. This is probably top 3 comfortable straps Iâve ever worn. Strap appears very durable on this watch.Color of the watch dial is the star of the show. I would describe the dial color as cream colored light beige. Iâve heard every color from white to silver. Definitely, not a boring dial with its concentric circles and various shades of color. The orange colored seconds hand appears to be the perfect shade of orange for this watch (also on the hour markers, military time numerals, and print on dial). That domed sapphire crystal is awesome! The watch appears to be very robust and smooth in operation. Day/date click over at the stroke of midnight. Watch has a signed screw-down crown. The case is brushed with just a glint of shimmer on the bezel. Movement is Sellita SW220-1. One word about the movement. Smooth!Cons:Day/date wheel in black (looks like a GMT hand in dim lighting at times)Watch runs fast +14 seconds dayTritium hour markers much brighter than handsHour/minute hands not clearly visible under TV light in the room (must be pitch black)Conclusion:This watch has that âItâ factor. It is the sum of its parts that give it that special something! It wears very well at 44mm. I knew from the moment I saw it, that this is a keeper.

Outstanding watch!
I have wanted an Automatic watch with tritium for a while now. This Luminox Atacama Field Automatic checked all the boxes for me. I have 6 other watches but since buying this one I rarely wear them. The one change I made was to replace the watchband. Although the one that came with the watch is very nice, I wanted a waterproof watchband. Overall I am extremely happy with this watch.

Gorgeous and built like a tank
The appearance is drop-dead gorgeous. Although a heavy watch, it feels great on my medium size wrist. The time is perfect! The only downside is it does not come with a manual and setting the watch is a convoluted method. I spent an hour online and finally called Luminox Customer Service. They were TERRIFICâ I’m all squared away now. The storage-holding and shipping container is nearly bomb-proof. One look, one feel, one wrist placement and you’ll know this baby is worth every hard-earned cent.

I freakin love it!
I like a bulkier watch so this is right up my alley. It’s the perfect blend of classic style, simplicity, and ruggedness. Will dress up or down. The tritium glow is plenty bright in a dark room. This is the first watch I’ve purchased that was over $200 and I think it will last a long time.

Lots of Problems- looks great.
Love the way it looks and the way that it wears. That’s where good ends.Keeps poor time. Does not hold a charge for very long. I returned it to Luminox’s authorized repair center in the U.S. after having it for 11 months because the face came loose and began to spin. Luminox informed me that not all Amazon resellers of their product are authorized resellers and that if the one who sold mine was not that they could not honor the warranty. A few days later they confirmed that mine was. But the lesson in this is to make sure you know who you are buying from. This was a $900 purchase. Knowing that there are resellers on here who could sell you an expensive watch with no warranty is enough risk for me not to make a purchase like this here again.

Great Watch
This is a watch that caught my eye from the very beginning of my Luminox journey. It has a simple dial design with red numbers showing military time black standard time. A thoughtful feature of the piece, is the calendar demonstrates the day of the week and day of the month. A bright tritium bar lights up each five-minute mark very clearly in the dark. However, because itâs an automatic movement watch, if it sits longer than 72 hours, you must wear it or store it in a winding case to maintain the correct time. It worth the cost

Well guys, I just thought Iâd let yâall know I do a lot of hunting & fishing. I thought this would be the perfect watch I Purchased it December 8, 2023 has not even been a year yet stopped working. I went and put it in the jewelry shop to get it fixed. cost me $300 came out three weeks later stop working again. I donât know if thereâs a defect on this model, if our soldiers go into the field of battle with this brand watch !!!! well letâs say I hope itâs just the one that I purchased. I got a timex I paid bubblegum price for been with me for 16 years shouldâve stayed with old faithful. Well, I have a pretty paperweight for the papers on my desk

Awesome watch. Arrived pretty fast considering that was ordered late Weekend. Just unpacked and I am really glad picking this watch over other options. Is heavy but not unbearable, looks awesome and it can fit many wearing clothes. The bracelet has to be adjusted but this is fine as I am fixing myself this issue. More updates coming perhaps after a few weeks wearing this beauty classic watch. So far everything is perfect.

Das ist die Gleiche Uhr (Automatik), welche ich mir schon von ein paar Jahren gekauft habe.Meine letzte Uhr hat irgendwann angefangen ein Eigenleben zu führen. Ging mal vor, ging nach, oder überhaupt nicht.Ich habe sie vom Uhrmacher einschicken lassen und bekam sie nach über drei Monaten aus der Schweiz zurück. Ging die ersten Monate, danach kam wieder das Eigenleben.Diese Uhr ist eigentlich top. Was leider bei der Beschreibung nicht stimmt, ist die Gangreserve von 30 – 40 Stunden.Das ist leider nicht schön.Wer aber im Dunkeln seine Zeit ablesen möchte, sollte sich aber trotzdem diese Luminox Uhr kaufen.
