Steeldive Watches are Well Made and Reliable
I have several Steeldive diver watches and also several Addiesdive watches. They are probably from the same factory in China, but they are very good watches for the price. For under $200 you get a sapphire crystal, a good automatic movement (such as a Seiko NH35 or similar) and the lume is very good if they get a daylight charge up and you need to use it at night. I keep mine on a watch winder as with automatics you have to wear them everyday as the reserve is typically about 30 to 40 hours or you have to wind it back up again. Keeping it on a watch winder negates having to wear it every day. Honestly, I have about10 watches on winders. Some will gain some lose time, but all just a few minutes a month. Unless you get a really high end automatic movement watch, this is as good as it gets with sub 200 dollar watches. I have another that is a clone of a Omega Seamaster with the brownish letters and the lume on that one is crazy. Shine a UV light on it and see what I mean. I recommend these Steeldive watches.

Simply outstanding
I very much enjoy automatic/self-winding watches and wanted one I could wear while working. I have others in the $100-300 range that are OK, but of them have limitations such as accuracy and actual water resistance.Cut to the chase – this is the best of the inexpensive watches I now own. It is subdued but still looks great and it is very comfortable and easy to read. I like it so much that have worn it every day since I purchased it – which is about 6-8 weeks.Best of all it is very accurate. It started off gaining ~10-12 seconds per day but after a few days that dropped down to ~5 seconds. After another week it is now has settled down and gains about 3 seconds per day.A minor quibble – the nighttime iridescence while very good when charged, unfortunately doesnât last.Overall, this is an outstanding watch for this price point. It is accurate, attractive, comfortable, and easy to read.

My new favorite watch?
So, copped this due to its close resemblance to a Seiko âCaptain Willard.âSaw that the reviews were mostly positive, and the price was very reasonable, so I added this one to my collection without much expectation.Upon receiving, I enjoyed that it came inside a protective little case (no Pelican case of course.) more importantly, it came with an adjustment tool! I loved being able to size it right out of the box.Have worn it almost everyday since I got it. It is well weighted and honestly looks very sharp. It honestly feels nicer than some of the Seikoâs I own, that are double the price. The automatic movement is a plain Jane NH35, so itâs easy to set and track. This watch seems pretty accurate and winding it is very easy. The Lum on it is brighter than most my Seikos as well.I love this watch. I donât worry about wearing it, but Iâm glad how many questions Iâve gotten about it.Iâve honestly thought about buying a few more just to have as gifts for special people in my life.Only downside is the watch wears pretty large. I have a large wrist, so it works for me. I wouldnât buy this if you have a smaller wrist. Might be a bit too much!Other than that. Fantastic watch.

Great for the price
This is the YouTube famous Steeldive captain Willard right here on Amazon. I got this for right at $100 and I do not recommend this watch at much more than that, I’d say pass if it is a penny higher than $125. Too many better optionsNow that out of the way this is a fine little spec monster. You already know if you like the seiko turtle 6105 or not and this is a good one in my opinion. I love the dial and hands on this particular steeldive. I’m not a big fan of the logo but it oddly enough disappears for me(there is a no logo version if you want but it was about $10 more at the time I purchased mine and my dislike for the logo did not overcome my desire to keep $10 haha) . The fit is great and should look excellent on almost all sized wrists. The bezel feels and sounds good, the full lumed insert looks great and will still look new for years because it is insanely hard to scratch ceramic, and it will not fade in the Sun like an aluminum bezel will. The 3 link oyster style full solid stainless bracelet has a slight taper down to a nice solid clasp the bracelet feels pretty good in your hand and on wrist. Both the case back and crown have engraved logos, along with a boxed sapphire crystal and it all feel substantial but not heavy at all. Now for the reality check! This watch has to cut so many corners to hit that crazy low price we are left with just a “good enough” piece.The main issues are the fit and finish is poor. The case has very sharp edges if you put your fingers on the bracelet where it meets the case and rub back and forth you can actually cut your thumb. The edges of some of the links on the bracelet are Sharp but you don’t feel them on wrist only when you rub your fingers across the watch while in your hand. Other people have mentioned that the case back engraving is sharp enough to cut them I haven’t had that experience but I certainly can feel it. Some of the bracelet links don’t move fluidly at all times because the edges are Sharp so they don’t play nice together but that’s not really a massive deal it just contributes to the overall cheapness of the package. Now the main issue has to do with the ceramic bezel insert the 12:00 triangle isn’t painted correctly because it doesn’t line up with the 12:00 marker but it isn’t a case of misalignment as all the other markings on the insert matches the dial, it’s literally the triangle is painted toward the 11:00 position it’s just a bezel insert that should have been rejected.Now for all the negatives I still recommend this wholeheartedly at $100 the alignment issue is noticeable but only if you know what you’re looking for. The bracelet is pushpin instead of screw link to save money but that is completely acceptable the Seiko nh35 movement is very reliable and mine is accurate and keeps great time. The lume is very bright but doesn’t last all that long. Great watch but don’t over pay

Great watch, arrived on time, keeps great time! I did change the band to silicone for better fit, just my preference! The price was great! This watch has a very good movement and seems to be made solid! I ordered the no logo version! Other watches with the same movement were hundreds of dollars more!

Honestly so blown away by the quality to price ratio at play here! I’ve been considering a real Turtle for a while now so I figured why not give one of the Steeldive ones a shot to make sure I liked the size and all.As soon as I opened it I knew it was something else. Packaging was top notch, tools included, directions (which most manufacturers leave put these days). And then the watch itself was simply gorgeous in my opinion. Gave it a few manual winds and it started ticking no problem. The bracelet is super comfortable as well and was easy to adjust. Overall this watch should cost far more than it does and I intend to buy other models for my modest collection
