Beautiful watch
I am a green-lover, and I think this watch looks elegant. Wear it to work and also for casual uses. I received a lot of compliments about this watch. Matches well with my green attire, and it gives a bright vibrant look in the daylight. Eco-friendly so no need for battery!Only thing I can critique about this watch though is when you are finishing a month that has 30 days, you’ll have to fiddle with the clock like a full 24 until it hits the day you want to set it to, like the 1st of the month. Can’t just switch the date straight up. Not a big issue for me though. Also, it’s very hard to see in the dark especially in the car- so no it does not glow in the dark. But many great watches are like that. I rate this 5 stars.

Not as advertised!!!
The watch is decent HOWEVER, the description states an alcentara and leather band and this I not the case. With that said, the leather band it comes with feels very cheap. This is my first citizen watch and am not pleased with quality compared to that of other watches I have like seiko, bulova, etc. the movement is decent but other than that the watch is a waste of money.

Beautiful & stylish watch, but one issue
Oh, how I wish I could give this watch 5 stars. It’s simply beautiful, stylish, very high quality, keeps perfect time, never needs a battery, and has the appealing green highlights (even at the tip of the second hand). Citizen is an excellent brand and make watches that will provide many years of reliable service.Now the reason for my docking a star: the band. The underside is stamped “Genuine Leather” and there’s no reason to doubt this. But the issue is that there’s a very thin black coating affixed on top that seems to be made out of a vinyl/plastic material. There would be nothing wrong with this if it was stuck on well, but after just one month of use it has started to literally peel off in the section towards the middle that is unavoidably bent whenever I take the watch off. And not only have I not even worn it every day, but I put it on and take it off just once on the days when I’ve worn it, so hardly excessive wear & tear. Of course, one option would be to just replace the band, but it has the 4 green stitches that add to the watch’s overall aesthetic appeal. And really, one shouldn’t have to do that with a practically brand new watch anyway, much less one made by Citizen.I still love this watch though, and still recommend it despite the faulty band. I haven’t read any other reviews saying they had the same band issue, so maybe this is really just a hiccup with my particular watch for whatever reason.

This Citizen watch is very good looking, functions fine, especially with the fact that it doesnât require a battery. Love the green accent with the silver hands. Light weight and not so thick of a bezel. The leather wrist band feels cheap tho, the delivery was fast, overall great watch!

This watch is very elegant. This is my second Citizen watch. The other one that I have is my favorite watch, besides the Tag I had (I’m a watch fanatic). I love the fact that I never have to have the battery replaced. I’ve had my other Citizen watch for at least 10 years now and it is still going strong. These Eco drive watches are ingenious.

Somebody pulled a fast one!
I just received my new watch (a birthday present to myself), and my initial reaction is….”really. that’s it?” The watch is pictured with, what appears to be, a very nice suede and leather band. Instead, it has a rather cheap-looking plain leather band, albeit with the green stitching pictured. This is, clearly, NOT the watch band shown online. The outside box has clearly been opened, and then taped shut. The owner’s manual is missing. The warranty card is there, but I’m not certain this is a first-quality product. I was able to set it myself (I mean, if you’ve had a time/date watch before it’s pretty self-evident how to set the date and time), but was expecting more. 2-stars is all I can give, and I’m not sure I’ll keep it, because it really feels like a bait-and-switch. A not-so-happy-birthday present to me…To follow-up a day later: I am definitely returning this. I’m so unhappy with the cheap band that I don’t think I’ll ever enjoy wearing the watch. Too bad…

I had zero clue about watches before this purchase and after doing some research within my budget I found the Citizen Eco-Drive a very tempting brand/concept to buy. Extremely happy upon receiving this watch and have enjoyed it 100% ever since. It feels like and looks like a quality piece and I am very proud of it. I just can’t understand why everyone who sees it hasn’t fallen over in amazement….. We shall wait patiently for my first compliment.

Purchased this product “used.” Description indicated possible marks on the face and band; purchased this watch to replace a similar one that I lost earlier so the condition would match the one I lost – no big deal. I was very impressed with the quality of the product when I received it. This is my 5 Eco Drive watch and the quality is consistent. The band looked like someone had tried it on but overall it was in good shape! I would buy it again.
