Delivers what is advertised
SEIKO OEM rubber dive watch band works as advertised. I bought the band to go on my older Seiko 7S26-0029 Scuba Diver watch. It was easy to install, is authentic to the watch and the black band & buckle is well made.

I got this band with my Seiko watch I purchased about a year ago, and I like the band. It is good looking, comfortable to wear, but I thought it would last a little longer than it did. It started to crack about a month ago, I replaced it with the exact same band, because I think it matches the watch well. It’s a good band, and I will buy another when the time comes.

Flexible & Comfortable
This watch band, a Seiko OEM, replacement part is flexible, and easy to buckle. When to original watch band broke, after three years of service life, I opted for a non-Seiko replacement band. That band, while it worked, did not fit into the Seiko Diver’s watch very well. That band was also too stiff, making fastening the band on my wrist cumbersome.The Seiko OEM replacement band fits into the watch exactly. The band is quite flexible and easy to fasten.

Cheap Fit
Didn’t fit right, cost lots to have fitted from a jewler. Not comfortable, black in color, Light weight, mid quality, Not easy to install.

THIS IS NOT AN ORIGINAL SEIKO BAND
As others have observed, this may be a lot of things but it is not an ORIGINAL SEIKO BAND. It also does not come in the OE packaging shown in the picture on the site but rather a real cheap plastic bag which would suggest that the supplier purchases these in bulk and then put them in the bag. All in all it’s not a bad band it’s just not as represented. The band is soft, flexible and comfortable to wear and since Seiko wants about $60 for the real thing this is not a bad alternative. My experience with genuine Seiko bands is that they last 1 to 2 years and then break. I also have a Citizen divers watch and that band lasted 18 years before it needed to be replaced so apparently Citizen knows something about watch bands that Seiko doesn’t. This band is marked “made in China” and anyone who knows anything about history would know that the Japanese hate the Chinese and I can’t imagine Seiko doing business with a Chinese company. It has something to do with World War II and some islands that the two countries are still arguing about. If you decide to purchase this band also buy the Spring Bar Tool for about $6.00 so you can change the band yourself. My local jeweler charged me $10 to change my Citizen band so this tool pays for itself in one use. You might also consider buying some beefier spring bars that are available on Amazon for a couple of bucks. The ones that come with the band are just OK but I’d prefer something a little more heavy duty as long as I’m going to the trouble of changing bands. I didn’t buy the heavier spring bars and I wish that I had.
