This Seiko Alpinist with the new movement for this price is a great deal. After having worn it for about two weeks, I can say the watch is accurate, and it wears comfortably and looks very nice. The dial is really well done. Depending on the angle you look at it, it plays very nicely with reflections from numbers and hands, and the dial itself is playful with light. I gave 4 stars and not five because the strap is very short. I consider myself having a medium-sized wrist, and the strap is maxed out. In addition, black is not the best choice of strap color for this dial. I changed it to a brown leather strap, and it looks much better. Strap aside – a great version of the Seiko Alpinist series.
