Perfect inexpensive watch, hands don’t light up
I love the large size of this watch and the heavier weight of it and it makes an impressive piece, almost jewelry-like. The domed crystal and large Roman numerals make it very easy to read and I was so glad to find a watch with all Roman numerals; hard to come by these days. The blue hands are my favorite part but unfortunately the dial and hands don’t light up at night so it’s impossible to read in the dark. The band on the inner side seems to tarnish and pit with time but doesn’t bother my skin. The outer side of the band and tank part do get scratched up with use but still look great. The only reason I am looking for a different watch is that 2 years in, the metal clasp is starting to pop open and won’t stay on my wrist. I’ll certainly search for another that has the same face; it’s a classic and I’ve gotten many compliments.

I’m so pleasantly surprised by the look, color, quality, and impressive weight of this watch. It also comes in a very nice box. It’s not a typical jewelry-style watch box. It’s rectangular, and I love the color and typeset on the lid. I’m encouraged and will buy more styles from Peugeot. Well done!

A pretty piece for the value…
I just received this and on first impression, overall for the price, it’s a really pretty watch with nice details. It has a nice heft to it, so it doesn’t feel light and cheap. That said, the rose gold tone looks almost painted on in parts (by the clasp for example), so I’m hoping it doesn’t fade quickly. The face is large and clear, with sapphire blue hands, and because the crystal is curved, it’s almost magnified so it’s easy to read. (Although the roman numeral V isn’t consistent in design…) The knob is beveled and pretty. On the back, it says “Stainless Steel Back” and “Japan Movement”, along with the Peugeot logo. Although the clasp reads Stainless steel (and Made in China), it doesn’t feel like steel. The bracelet is pretty, but has arrows pointing to the left on the inside, which is kind of weird. It’s much shinier and brighter than pictured — in the photo, the rose gold seemed more subtle. It comes in a nice red leather watchcase. In all, it reminds me of a “poor cousin” version of a Cartier model. But again, for the price, I’ll take it!

I was so thrilled to be getting what looked to be a beautiful time piece as a birthday gift from my husband. Well, what a huge disappointment when I finally received my watch, excitedly removed it from its box, set the time and waited for the watch to start working. Surprise; the watch was completely dead. Nothing I did would make it go. I requested an exchange from the seller via Amazon as I really liked the look of the watch. The very day that I was preparing to send back the first dud via UPS, the replacement watch arrived. Again, I excitedly opened the package, took the watch out of its box, set the correct time, only to realize that this watch to was a dud! It simply wasnât working. On this one however, the little plastic tab that should be located under the crown of the watch to keep the battery from making the watch work before purchase (so as not to waste the battery) was missing. This tells me it was probably somebodyâs return now being passed on to me.I called Amazon to complain and was told that a paid shipping label was being emailed to me. I was less than thrilled to have to start packing up another watch to ship back via UPS and told the customer rep at Amazon as much. He put me briefly on hold while consulting with his supervisor about my reluctance to keep returning non-working items. I was told that I didnât have to return either watch although the merchant usually request the item be returned (working or not.) I wound up without my much anticipated birthday gift.The final insult was getting an email about a month down the road warning me that I would be billed for the watch (at a price greater than what I was originally charged due to a discount at the time of purchase) if I failed to return said watch on time; this was for the original non-working watch. I again called Amazon and rightly so, was told that since I had already been told that I need not return either watch, I could ignore said email and they would take care of the matter. Amazon was true to their word and took care of the matter.Bottom line merchants, please tighten up your quality control and scrutinize your merchandise before shipping out faulty/defective merchandise. One kaput watch while not great for the recipient is understandable as items do on occasion arrive damaged/not working, but two in a row is unacceptable; it leaves a bad taste in the customers mouth and does not instill confidence in the quality of your products.

Love my watch
I have had this for months and I still love it. I wanted a dupe for the michele watch that is so expensive and this is pretty nice! Itâs a little heavy but it doesnât bother me. I have a watch kit so I removed two links to fit my arm. Easy to do. I donât wear it showers of course. I havenât had any problems with it turning or anything. For me this has been a really good watch.

– The actual watch is great! it’s shiny and good size (it could be bigger if you’re looking for boyfriend watch).- The bracelet could be better though. You may notice it’s not high quality.- The box it comes with is great for gifts.- For 40 bucks, I shouldn’t be complaining!

Wearing my gold Peugeot today and I absolutely love it. It has good weight and the gold colour is shiny and fabulous. The face is white background with roman numerals and blue hands. I love it so much I am going to get the black leather band with the silver face.
