Middle aged Menace –
To my taste, this is the best looking current Omega model.
The Railmaster and its stablemates, the Aqua Terra models all have the beautiful signature twisted lugs. I found all the other Aqua Terra models to have too much ‘bling’ for my taste. Another negative with the other models in the Aqua Terra line is the arrow hands which I dislike. The Railmaster with its all brushed case and simple sword shaped hands is much more refined and understated, more my speed.The brushed dial is a shapeshifter depending on the light, which is interesting, never boring and It doesn’t hinder legibility. The METAS certified movement is accurate on my example during my use to +2.5 seconds a day. The lume is recessed into the dial, as a result it is thick and lasts all night long. Super high resistance to magnetism and more waterproofing than I’ll ever need. This watch checked all the boxes for me.Cost to service a three hand model at the Omega service center is currently $500. If you can get your Omega here for $500 less than what you could at an authorized dealer, why wouldn’t you?

Buyer’s beware, I’ve purchased 2 watches from this vendor and have had nothing but problems. The 1st watch was a Omega Speedmaster which stopped working after 6 days, took it to a Omega dealer and the watch is beyond the factory warranty by 21 years (watch was manufactured in 2000). The 2nd watch was a Omega Railmaster, took it to a Omega dealer for sizing and found out it was 16 years old. I promptly returned it only to be slapped with a $1000 restocking fee from jomashop.

Understated and robust to stand behind you
One of my favorite pieces. I’ll admit it took me to find courage in getting this piece. I thought it was ugly. Search on google and youtube for reviews. It will slowly change your mind.Just one of those pieces that you have to see in person to appreciate and admire. Plain vanilla with some modern touches, and a robust tool watch as they come.
