Product Overview
The Cressi Goa Dive Watch Computer is a compact, high-performance dive computer designed for scuba divers, freedivers, and underwater enthusiasts who demand precision, reliability, and Italian engineering. With a slim 1.89″ (48mm) diameter and a high-contrast 1.38″ (35mm) display, the Goa delivers essential dive data in a lightweight, easy-to-read format. It supports four distinct operational modes—Air/Nitrox scuba diving, freediving, gauge mode, and an Off mode for snorkeling—making it a versatile companion across a range of underwater activities. Built in Italy by Cressi, a pioneer in diving equipment, the Goa combines advanced decompression algorithms with user-friendly navigation, ideal for both recreational and multi-day technical dives.
Key Features
- Four Operational Programs: Switch seamlessly between Air and Nitrox scuba diving, freediving (apnea), gauge mode for depth and time tracking without decompression calculations, and Off mode to disable dive functions during snorkeling or swimming—preventing unwanted alarms.
- RGBM Decompression Algorithm: Developed in collaboration with Bruce Wienke, this advanced algorithm supports safe decompression planning for repetitive and multi-day dives. It allows alternating between Nitrox and Air during desaturation and includes customizable safety factors, deep stop management, and ascent rate monitoring.
- Customizable Nitrox Settings: Adjust oxygen percentage (FO2) from 21% to 50% and set maximum partial pressure of oxygen (PO2) between 1.2 and 1.6 bar (17.4–23.2 psi) for tailored gas mix planning.
- Freediving Mode: Tracks depth, dive time, surface intervals, session duration, and maximum depth. Includes alarms for depth, dive time, surface interval, and recovery time, with real-time phase visualization.
- Gauge Mode: Functions as a depth and temperature monitor with average depth calculation, dive timer, and resettable depth stopwatch—ideal for non-decompression diving or as a backup instrument.
- Enhanced Data Acquisition: Samples depth data every 5 seconds during scuba dives and every 2 seconds during freedives, with continuous temperature monitoring—resulting in highly detailed dive profiles for post-dive analysis.
- User-Friendly Interface: Features a simple two-button navigation system with an intuitive menu. Supports 12/24-hour time format, calendar, alarm clock, stopwatch, second time zone, and backlit display for low-light readability.
- Durable Construction: Built with a mineral glass display, heavy-duty case, stainless steel buttons, and a plastic/steel bezel and back cover. Rated to 394′ (120m) depth and includes a rubber strap with stainless steel buckle.
- Memory & Connectivity: Stores up to 50 dives per category in its logbook. Compatible with the HAL 9000 Interface docking station (sold separately) to download and review dive data on Mac or PC.
- Altitude Adjustment: Automatically adjusts for altitudes up to 12,139′ (3,700m), ensuring accurate decompression calculations at high elevations.

Benefits & Use Cases
The Cressi Goa is ideal for divers who want a single device that adapts to multiple underwater disciplines. Scuba divers benefit from its RGBM algorithm and Nitrox flexibility, especially on multi-day trips where gas switching and decompression safety are critical. Freedivers gain precise tracking of dive cycles and recovery times, while recreational swimmers and snorkelers can use Off mode to avoid disruptive alerts. Its compact size and lightweight design make it comfortable for extended wear, and the clear display ensures quick readability even in challenging conditions. The ability to reset the computer makes it a practical choice for dive centers or rental operations.
Important Notes
The HAL 9000 Interface docking station required for data download is not included and must be purchased separately. The computer comes with a screen guard, quick reference guide, and instructions for accessing the full owner’s manual. Always ensure the battery is replaced by a qualified technician to maintain water resistance. Designed, developed, and manufactured in Italy by Cressi Elettronica, the Goa reflects over 70 years of innovation in underwater sports equipment.
