This “CILOA” brand of watches include a variety of interesting designs, and this one is no exception. The watch looks better in person than it does in the images. The gold cast metal of the watch itself is of fine quality and unique while the face is attractive and easy to read. An interesting detail are the royal blue metallic roman numerals which add a design twist to the overall appearance of the watch. Note that it does not have a second hand. This is only a two handed watch lending to its simplicity and is therefore very easy to set. The band or strap says it’s genuine leather and doesn’t feel dry nor does it crack or show any abnormality when bent or twisted. The band also isn’t so rigid that it’s uncomfortable to put on. The overall weight of the watch is light and comfortable to wear.
At the time of this review, there are three different color combinations of this watch. They are all in the listing as being a men’s watch. This lighter “gold” color combination I received strikes me as being more for women. The watch itself is large like a typical man’s watch, but this color combination just doesn’t seem right for me. A different band color would change everything. Beyond that, it’s a good quality appearance and a good value for what it is. I will be looking forward to the next interesting design that CILOA has to offer.
Watch came with a blemish on the case right by the "winding" stem. Very general directions were provided for 15 different style of watch… none of them were for this watch. The "Scoring" (stop watch) dial on the left and the Stop Watch buttons on either side of the "winding" stem do absolutely nothing.
The band is nice but small. My wrist is only 7.2" around, and this band barely was long enough.
