It has rubber feet on the bottom, which keep it securely in place while also protecting your furniture from scratches. After the device is plugged in, you have the option to set it to wind according to four different modes (called gears), with the blue LED light turned on or off.
– Gear 1 turns the watch clockwise for two minutes, stops for six minutes, and then repeats.
– Gear 2 turns the watch counterclockwise for two minutes, stops for six minutes, and then repeats.
– Gear 3 turns the watch clockwise for two minutes, stops for six minutes, turns counterclockwise for two minutes, stops for six minutes, and then repeats that cycle.

My watch requires a bidirectional winder and can run at any time of day so the third setting works best for me.
This device turns smoothly in both directions and stops gently when changing directions. It also runs so quietly that you really need to be right next to it to hear the internal motor whirring. If this will be kept in a bedroom, there is no chance that it will disturb anyone’s sleep.
Overall, I am delighted with this watch winder and while I am pleased that my watch will no longer have a dead battery when I haven’t worn it for awhile, I am possibly most looking forward to never having to wind through half a month (or longer) of time to set the date ever again.
I love these watch winders. This one fit well on my night stand and isn’t too big They usually work well and the blue light looks really cool when you have it on. It’s also extremely quiet. Near silent. The only thing that has me weary is after two months it seemed like the motor went out and wouldn’t spin. Then after two days of being unplugged, I plugged it in and got it working again. So, all is well

The winder is really attractive. There is a blue light that comes in while it’s winding watches. It makes the whole winder be pretty while it’s working. There is a cord for this but no batteries. I’m really glad I got this. It was worth getting since my husband loves it so much.
