This review is for the Automatic Single Watch Winder Box for Rolex, Self Winding Rotating Wooden Watch Case, Battery or USB Powered. Right off the bat, I'm taking off a star for the lack of power block that should be included for the asking price of this well-designed self-winder box. And on top of that it was hard to find one with right power output. I even tried one that matched the recommend output on the included pamphlet, which didn't work either. I was finally able to power it using the block that come with one of my Amazon tablets. The device is quiet, it's programmed to stop and start every few minutes and the inside looks elegant and is made with soft materials to protect expensive watches. I would've preferred the on/off button on front or sides, but as you can see in one of the pics, is in the back. You can also use AA batteries if you don't have a place to plug in the power block, which is what I'll be using since I don't have an available outlet near my watch collection. This automatic single watch winder made by ORYX VISION deserves 4 solid stars IMHO.

    I have 2 main watches I switch from and having to reset the date and time everytime I switch finally became annoying enough for me to find a solution.

    This winder box is perfect for me. I have it right next to my night stand and it has been working great for a few weeks now. It fits my watch perfectly and the operation of it is very straight forward. There is a simple on/off button on the back and that is all. There is no lighting included, just a simple watch winder.

    The noise of the machine is very low. The first time I heard it I thought it was a mosquito flying around at night. Keep in mind that the machine is about 2 feet from my head, so that should give you a sense of how quiet of a machine it is.

    I have not tried the battery powered option since USB is the most convenient way to use this machine for me, so I can't speak of battery life when using batteries. The machine is simple and overall construction quality seems to be good.

    As far as the ability for this machine to keep a watch wound and operating, I have had no issues so far. I have hte same watch on there for about 3 weeks and it continues to tick away, so the time retention is great.

    Overall this is nice simple machine and should be a good gift for watch lovers.

    This is one of the most basic automatic watch winders you can get, and because of that, it is lacking some safety features which means I will only be using this with sub 4 figure timepieces. Some things to note; The only setting is on and off by a button at the back. (why can't it be at a more convenient place, like the front?) It will rotate is both directions, with a few minutes pause in between each time. So if you have a singularly direction winding movement… this CAN put some negligible extra strain by winding it in a direction you watch doesn't need. Next, it keeps on spinining, even if you open the lid. And there is no light inside, which I am honeslty fine of… lights can be kind of cheesy.

    It is whisper quiet- I can still hear it but 99% of the time, it just disappears into the background. Your space pretty much needs to be silent in order to hear it. Also, comes with the USB-C cable, but not the brick. Good option to dip your toes into the watch winder world, if you have a basic automatic watch that you wear a couple times a week maybe but not all the time.

    I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this watch winder + display box. The wooden design is sturdy and elegant. The display lights can be turned on/off in order to showcase the watch. It is USB-C compatible and can run plugged in or on battery power — the watch winder is fairly whisper quiet and most importantly keeps your mechanical watched running when they are not on your wrist.

    The only thing missing on this would be a way to also lock the case, but still this is still an excellent storage option for those with automatic watches.

    This Automatic Single Watch Winder Box is terrific! It is a great value when compared to similar products. The instructions are straight-forward, so it is easy to operate. We are operating it by battery and it's been used several times a week for the last month, and the batteries are still good. The noise level is zero. It's a nice piece that you can keep on a sofa table. Best part is it works! Keeps the Rolex ticking!
