Good band. Easy to adjust.
I needed to swap out my fabric band… it was getting too old and couldn’t get the sweaty smell out of it any more… This band is great. Easy to install with quick release bars and easy to adjust using the included tool to remove the link pins.I was a little wary at first because the clasp felt a little “gritty”, like the surface wasn’t smooth. But after a few days of use, that grittiness has smoothed out, gone away completely and the clasp operates as expected.I also like the weightiness of the steel band vs my old fabric band. The watch face stays in place without issues, it doesn’t roll to either side..I’ve rubbed it against some hard surfaces and taken a shower while wearing it. No issues with scratches or from getting it wet.

This stencil is better than I expected, it comes with everything you need to install it, and the install was very easy, I have been using it for several weeks and there are no problems. No more waste of money on cheap stencils, I love this one!

Broke after 1 use.
Put on the watch wore it one time. Put in padded pocket of golf bag and when I got to golf course, band was missing pins and broke.

Clasp unreliable, link pins slightly questionable
Had to pull out one link for sizing. Requires removing two pins. The first one came out fine. The second I had to grab plyers and fight to get it all the way out. Upon inspection the pin appears to have “flared-out” (for lack of a better term) where there was a small flap of metal which was grabbing in the link. The first didn’t have this.My best guess is the link pins (not the pins to the watch itself) may be rolled steel instead of solid. I see no problem with that when performing the main job of holding the links together. But it’s possible the second pin “unrolled” a little when being pushed out. It was a lot harder to get the second pin started than the first. The flaring was at the end being pushed by the extraction pin, not the end I was later grabbing with the plyers.Luckily both pins didn’t do this since one pin was needed to put the band back together after the one link was removed. The main pins holding the band to the watch appear to be fine.The bigger issue is the clasp is proving unreliable upon initial closure, but it does appear to be reliable once the clasp does lock properly. The problem is I’ve been making sure to solidly pinch the entirely of the clasp after closing and it gives all indication it is fully clasped. But then I have to test it by doing a little tug on the band near the watch and the clasp will come unclasped.However, if the clasp holds during the test it appears to be reliable for the rest of the day. Again, the annoying part is I don’t do anything different when closing the clasp between when it’s reliable and when it isn’t.I’ve had another make of this exact same band style for well over a decade and it was always 100% reliable after simply slapping the clasp closed and a quick extra push on it. I can easily envision the problem might be with my specific band and not an overall design flaw. At least with the clasp. When it comes to the pin flaring, don’t use excessive force when pushing it out. That being said, how would anyone without prior experience know how much force is needed.
