a charming watch, most functional remote
This is a charming and well made CITIZEN watch, though the design is a bit flashy. The interface is intuitive, but lagging. Customization of the control buttons is most useful. I set the bottom as a shortcut for the phone audio controls, for example. The three push-buttons are large enough and sufficiently far apart to operate while wearing gloves. The screen is very readable, and the brighter the ambient light the better, in difference to the typical screens. I wish it had solar charging, but given the existing technology it would have taken some of the screen real-estate. As is, the charge lasts for weeks and it fully charges for under an hour! Overall, I like it more than I thought I would.

I hate squared smart watches. If you like them, than this is not for you. Stop reading this and move on.If you like quality watches. Good looking. Stylish. This might interest you .It is not a smart watch!!! Itâs a citizen watch, with its looks and quality, with a digital back display that gives you notifications and fitness info. THATS IT! No useless apps and stuff. No toy-looking-colors. This is perfect for me. Iâve had so many complements on it. Itâs a casual even dress watch that allows me to stay up to date on my essential notifications. Iâve actually stopped looking so much at my phone.Battery is good. Interphase and app is simple and good.Cons: not submersible. I wish I could take this swimming. But it is splash resistant. If you stop using it for a day or so, you need to reconnect and calibrate; itâs a simple process, but I think this could have been avoided with a bit more of technology.The âdouble-tap-lightâ is super useful. But it should be more of a back light.I wish I could customize a little bit more the face screens.But all of this cons you can easily live with and easily adapt.Overall itâs a Gera watch. I own 4 citizen eco drive watches, and havenât used since I got this CZ.

More hassle than itâs worth.
The watch does not stay connected to the iPhone. I continually lose contact with the phone. I have deleted everything and reinstalled a few times. Nothing seems to work. I also cannot get the YouQ app to work at all. The watch seems to only work with either the citizen watch app or YouQ app, but not both. Save yourself some money and buy a different tracker. Only saving grace is that the watch looks nice. I would not buy it again.

Not so fast
The watch is nice looking and I charge it at 30% which is about 10 days.The disturbing part is the watch does not like to stay connected to my phone and is difficult to get connected. It is very confusing as to what you can connect. I have yet figured out how to get my phone to work correctly. The O2 sensor worked for about a month. Getting help is next to impossible. The luminous numbers are useless as even shining a strong light on them they stay lit for less than 2 minutes. Getting someone to contact you is impossible. I wish someone would contact me.

One notable drawback is the inability to display full messages from various applications, which limits its practicality as a smartwatch.Additionally, the software experience is frustrating for users outside the U.S. The YouQ app is region-locked, making it inaccessible, and even installing the companion Citizen Connected app required a workaround, as it wasnât available via the Play Store in my region.Fortunately, I managed to purchase this watch at a significant discount, which softens the blow of these limitations. While the watch delivers on aesthetics and durability, these software restrictions significantly detract from the overall user experience, particularly for international users.

Excellent hybrid watch
We were looking for a hybrid smartwatch, for which meticulously researched comparables from Garmin, Pininfarina, even Tissot T-Touch Smart. For those of us who want a classic watch with smart features, you canât get anything better!Very well made and designed. Doesnât have that âbulky peace of garden hoseâ look and feel of other feature-packed watches.Battery life is amazing, been wearing it for more than two weeks and still have 22%! Doesnât have a solar charging but Iâm fine with it.CZ app is nothing special but does everything you need, includes all major fitness support features, tracks heartbeats and everything.One downside as compared with twice as pricy Garmins is that it doesnât have a GPS, which is not an issue for me, since I always carry my phone with me. Also, the glass is mineral but looks like itâs not sapphire crystal.Price is also great for this piece. It doesnât have cheap look at all, in fact, could have been sold at a higher price!

Another poorly executed smart watch
First the good, it looks great and is easy to get going and functioning like a smart watch. Now the bad news it doesnt stay connected and I have a 2 month old Iphone. Then the accuracy of the pedometer is awful when compared to others. Then the temperature display isnt in sync with the phone, its just loaded with bugs with basically every feature. Even the backlight doesnt work everytime. I cant believev a company liek Citizen who are known for reliable watches even released this watch. Nice looking watch but just save your money for a used Apple or Samsung watch and have a watch that actually has smart features that actually are reliable. To be honest even the Fossil smartwatches were better than this years ago. Still love my other Citizens but their smartwatches have a ways to go. 2/5.

This watch charge lasts more than 15 days This is a major plus. The heart rate seems quite off indicating a rate of 180 when on the treadmill compared to other smart watches that confirm a rate of 128. Step count is accurate enough with little deviation from others. The easy watch face dials customizing is nice but the options for various faces is quite limited.
