Bulova Sutton in Rose Gold with brown alligator(ish) strap. Photos do not do this watch justice. The color and elegance of the design are fascinating and you’ll find yourself staring at it often throughout the day. Being able to see the movement at work is also great if you're a gearhead like me. I’ve wanted a good skeleton watch for exactly that reason and Bulova is a solid reliable brand. I’ve had my eye on it for a while and when the price dropped I had to scoop it up. Boy am I glad I did. Now that the price is back up to $419 I can say I’d still buy it.
The movement is smooth and accurate. I’ve been wearing it for about a week and it hasn’t lost a minute. It is an automatic so I do keep it on a watch winder at night. So far it keeps time just as well as my Hamilton, which was twice the price. If I had to criticize anything I’d say the rotor (counterweight) is a bit noisy when you move your wrist, and there is hardly any lume so it’s basically unreadable at night. But for me at least that doesn’t matter so much. Time will tell for durability but I trust Bulova and in my opinion they knocked it out of the park with this.
I love this one because it's my first watch from this collection and it still looks and works perfectly. I love it and recommend it. Good value for money.
This is my first $300 watch, my first Bulova, my first automatic, my first "skeleton" watch, and my first watch with Roman numerals. I had HIGH HOPES for this piece. I took months to finally make a choice and then purchase it. Love the brown/gold/rose color scheme and leather wrist band (no need to have a metal band "adjusted" later). That's the "good"; now for the "bad": The watch does not hold a "charge" more than 12 hrs after being sufficiently wound up. I tried calling and emailing Bullova for assistance, and they NEVER responded. So their customer service is horrible. Their app wouldn't let me register the watch, so I had to do it on their website. But again, I can't get ahold of their customer service. I will say THIS: if you wind the watch AND wear it EVERY DAY, you'll be fine. But you'll have to wear ONLY this watch. You won't be able to alternate with others. 4 year warranty does me NO GOOD if I can NOT reach them for assistance. I'm about to turn the watch back in before we Amazon inspection period is up.
Movimiento Miyota de citizen Japón y estéticamente hermoso, rubíes y mecanismo 100% a la vista. Termina en acero inox y cuero real. En mi muñeca de 18cm de circunferencia va justo. Solo le faltaría cristal de zafiro y ser un poco más lumínico… pero también habría que pagarlo! Si lo eliges no te arrepentirás. Un reloj guapísimo para la colección por décadas.
