after some expensive G Shocks,I was little hesitant about a cheapie. It’s actually a great little watch! Dial is bigger than the Casios and unlike the Casios very easy to see in all kinds of light. Band is comfortable and the lighter weight much appreciated. Only has 3 functions, but I only need 2. don’t know about the test of time, but at this price, who cares? It really works great.

Would be 5 star except one key factor
All in all this is a great watch but there’s one feature that has me just plain urked. The button to adjust time time, which is left side lower (see marked up photo), only needs to be pressed 3 times to take you directly into the time and date adjustment option. And the button is so easy to press that each time you move your wrist a certain way it toggles off the main screen to the screen where you adjust the time. That has really been the downfall of this watch. If not for that single things I literally would have purchased 5 for myself (figuring that should last me a good long time) and probably every male in the family would be getting one for whatever occasion would warrant a gift. This really is a great simple stylish watch. The face is super clear & easy to read. It’s ultra lightweight and comfortable. And for the price…. You really can’t go wrong. It tells time, date, and day of week very clearly. Then there’s an alarm and stop watch. Also seems to hold up well in the shower. The light sometimes looks green, sometimes blue depending on other lighting. Either way, clear, bright and again, easy on the eyes.

Nice Looking!
Surprised this watch was so thin. It arrived set at the correct time EST and has kept accurate time since arrival. Not expecting the PU rubber band to last very long as that was the problem with the last watch I liked. That band could not be replaced with any band, only their specific band, which did not last very long before cracking. The replacement band was about 3/4 of the cost of a new watch, so a bad deal.This watch looks good and thus far I am pleased with its functions.

Inexpensive thin watch with all the important functions.
Not sure why wrist watches have become so large and heavy, especially since in a watch, size does not matter. Though larger in diameter than I care for, the Golden Hour GH1313 being thin is a big plus and on my postal scale, it weighs in at 1.3oz (38g).Received the watch on 12/06 and it is very easy to set up the time and the date. It has a stopwatch function, which I’ll probably never use, and an alarm which will come in handy when I travel. The oversized watch dial is very visible and the pretty aqua colored light is plenty bright enough and remains on for about 3 secs.Overall, a nice watch for the price…I have included some photos and you may notice that the date for Saturday in December is 19, but if you look at the calendar you will see that the 19th in December is a Tuesday. So of course you’re thinking, ‘well. the twit set the watch up wrong’ and that is the exact thing I thought. So I went back and worked to get the thing properly set and as I scrolled through the 31 days available to set for the date, I became disappointed in my brand new watch.In my photos, I could have of course set any date for any day and claimed foul in the hopes that the vendor would ship me a new watch just to shut me up. However, one of the photos shows the date as 38 and 39 and there is no way for me to fudge those. Those two numbers show for the 28th (38), the 29th (39), the 30th (38), and the 31st (39). The other inaccurate dates are the 8th (18), 9th (19), 10th (28), and the 11th (29). So if I can’t trust the calendar, how can I trust the time?

I have recently purchased the one with a dark background, but the readings were not great.Not so, with the bright background.If you have looked carefully, you saw that you have the choice between a plastic or a metal case,a dark or a bright background, and different case and bracelet colors.The plastic case is lighter and thinner, but not as solid as the metal case.The dark background seems nicer BUT⦠Itâs much easier to read time with a bright background.I prefer the black metal case, with a bright background.As for the bracelets, theyâre all made of silicone/plastic. They look very nice, but they wonât last.Remember that youâre buying an inexpensive watch here.No use complaining about the bracelet. Just get a better one. I always do. (see photo)Literally anyone can change it without the need of a jeweler.I have put my own leather band on it. (funny, the band costs me about the same as the watch itself)WHAT I LIKE: affordable cost, big numbers, wide viewing angle, simplicity of operation,the look. Keeps accurate time. Nightlight – not super bright, but still bright enough for an easy reading.Only 3 functions: Time, Alarm, Chrono. No need for anything more, as far as Iâm concerned.And the CR2016 battery thatâs inside â it supposed to last for about 5 years.Again⦠very east to change the battery yourself, with a tiny screwdriver.I definitely recommend this watch. I would buy again, if needed.
