Fit my Timex GMT 18mm bracelet perfectly

Fit my Timex GMT 18mm bracelet perfectly
The clasp that came with my Timex GMT 38mm had no micro-adjust. Sometimes you can get lucky by simply removing enough links to for a decent fit. Unfortunately, this bracelet either choked my wrist or it slid right down past my wrist bone on to my hand after removing links. I really like the original bracelet though so I ordered this new 18mm clasp instead of an entire new bracelet. It now fits perfectly and I couldn't be happier. This clasp has 3 micro-adjust holes which is just enough. Installation is tricky though for beginners so I recommend just searching for guides on YouTube. It took me a few tries to get it right. Also, make sure you have enough spring bars. I almost lost one of mine from the old clasp as once you disengage them, they *boing!* right out of the clasp and can go flying lol. Also be careful to measure where the bracelet connects to the clasp. If you have a bracelet that tapers, it might go smaller than the bracelet width is listed. Mine was a uniform 18mm though and worked great.

My husband had a watch I gave him when we were married, quite some time ago, that had a broken clasp thanks to our youngest child. We took it to a jeweler who said he'd have to build a piece to fix it at a price tag we could not afford. Thanks to this piece he is happily wearing his watch again. We are very pleased and grateful.

Nice upgrade; beware of shorter length of the clasp

This is a nice upgrade from the original stamped clasp. It levels up the overall quallity of how it looks, feels. the lenth of the clasp is a bit shorter and makes it harder to slide on and off the wrist (7.5), from those that have a larger hand around the knuckles . Hopefully my pic gives my description a better understanding. While it may be very close and seems like it would not make a difference; the almost 1/2 inch does.

    18mm folding clasp buckle.

I bought this buckle to replace the one that came on my Strapcode Miltat Endmill 22mm bracelet that I bought a couple of years ago for my Breitling SuperOcean 44; which came on a rubber strap. The 22mm bracelet tapers down to 18mm at the buckle. My original buckle was defective, and I never got around to inquiring of them to get it replaced, and they (Strapcode) informed me that too much time had lapsed since when I purchased it, therefore they would not replace it free of charge; (They wanted about $20.00 plus around $15.00 shipping) I understand that, and don't have any complaints. I searched for an 18mm buckle on Amazon, and ordered this one, even though I saw a couple of customers' feedback stating that they did not receive the correct size. I figured I'd take my chances, since Amazon has been good about their return policies in my experience. Anyway, I got the right size clasp/buckle that I ordered, and I want to say it is exactly the same clasp as the original that came on my Strapcode bracelet. You couldn't tell the difference even if you put it under a microscope. It fit perfectly, and is sturdy enough considering it didn't come on a $700.00 bracelet. I'm totally happy with the overall buying experience, and saved myself about $23.00

Amazon/Seller needs to correct the size according to the bracelet size.

The actual product is fine, the milled stainless steel is great, the only issue is the size chart in the description. If a person has a 20mm bracelet they will think they need to order a 20mm clasp, but when you get the clasp, it is actually for a 22mm bracelet instead of a 20mm. The description is actually giving you the size of the clasp itself, not for the size of the bracelet you need/have. So if you have a 20mm bracelet, you have to order an 18mm clasp instead of a 20mm one because you will get the wrong size. So be careful when ordering, unless Amazon/Vendor will correct or clarify in their description.

TLDR; Easy to install and inexpensive milled clasp that might be too small to for many wrist sizes. Also, finishing could be better. IT'S $10!

    Pros:
    -Inexpensive
    -Easy install.
    -Nicely Milled
    -Adequate brushed finish
    -It costs $10

    Cons:
-Far too small for some people (I installed it on a brand new Seiko turtle without taking off any links and I still had to micro adjusted it to the loosest setting to fit my 7 1/2" wrist with a snug fit)
-Brushing detail can be better (but adequate for 10$)
-The clamp is really stiff so there's a bit of force needed to close it (like you're going to break it) but that might also mean it's secure on the wrist. Will update later if that changes.
-The edges could of been buffed better to be less sharp
-The secondary Buckle takes minimal force to unlatch which could be precarious.
-The underside of the metal is dirty/unfinished.

Conclusion: It's 10$. It works as intended. Definitely better than a stamped metal clasp. If you're using this on a watch you've already sized and have a thicker wrist, maybe look somewhere else unless you have the extra links available.
