Nice Rolex-styled band, requires careful assembly
I wanted to get the rubber band option for my Submariner, but really couldn’t justify the price considering I wouldn’t use it all the time since I usually prefer the stainless band. For this price, I can swap it out and go with the more casual rubber setup at times. It takes some careful setup to trim and install the included spring bars to get the size exactly right. It doesn’t have the quick adjustment slider that the Rolex latch does, so you have to get the size correct.Once set up, it’s extremely sturdy and the friction latch holds tight and can be easily adjusted if it is damaged to the point it doesn’t latch properly. The profile matches my 2023 Submariner perfectly, and aside from not having the little crown on the latch- from more than a couple feet away it looks just the same as the really expensive Rolex option.The case that it comes in, I just don’t understand. It’s bulky and has no purpose once the band is installed so it would be better to just exclude that and the expense involved. It comes with the tool and the spring bar assortment, which is handy if you don’t have those things already. I’m rating it 4 stars as I’m MORE than satisfied (3) with the quality of the band, but I feel that the price is a bit steep for what it is considering it lacks any fine adjustment capabilities.

Hilarious to think that someone would put this on their Rolex Submariner
10/28/24 update:After wearing this for a couple of weeks, I’ve learned that the friction-held end of the band is too loose, and you end up having to tighten the band at least once per day. That’s a deal-breaking flaw, therefore, I’m lowering my rating to 1-star since that’s the lowest rating allowed by Amazon. I’d give it zero stars if I could.======== original 2-star review =========It’s ludicrous to think that anyone would put this watch band on their $10k Rolex Submariner, but thanks for making me spit out my morning coffee from laughing too hard, Sight Focus ðOn the other hand, it seemed like a reasonable watch band for my sub-$300 Vaer DS4 Meridian. Things looked promising at first. That everything is bundled in a little case is nice, as is the nice assortment of spring bars. But then came the bad news.There are no installation or sizing instructions, and while I figured out what to do, I suspect many people will screw up. You definitely cannot use scissors to shorten the bands as is shown in one of the pictures. You’ll need a sharp razor blade, and you need to be very careful to make straight, precise cuts.While I think the band looks OK, you can see in the pics that the clasp is very long — it’s slightly longer than the width of my watch, and that detracts from the overall appearance. The clasp is pretty thin stainless, which gives it a somewhat cheap feel. I certainly wouldn’t be happy paying $32+ for this band, but since it’s currently being offered with a 50% coupon, perhaps thatâs the real price point that Sight Focus intends.

Classy and well made. I’m a big fan of rubber straps, and this one with its high quality clasp looks great on most sporty watchers. Fits my 20mm sub. Comes with some “extras” like multiple pins, a screw driver. nice spring rod pulle a case and more. SEE PHOTOS!

Super nice strap
This strap has a very high end look to it, especially considering that it’s rubber. The clasp is robust and probably designed after a Rolex clasp.The rubber feels nice and sturdy, and has channels on the underside so that it won’t get too hot against the skin.The only problem with a strap like this is that you have to cut the rubber to fit the size of your wrist. And that can be trickier than it sounds. I suggest you cut one or two links out and try it on before doing the final round of cuts. Or you could take it to a jeweler or watchmaker and have them do it.But it’s a gorgeous strap in any case. It might be the nicest strap I’ve ever had.Recommended…
