So far a phenomenal watch
Outside of a watch telling time and telling me at a minimum the date, I don’t know much about watches. I have had several over the years and even a Rolex because I thought it was cool to have a very expensive watch. Now in hindsight, an absolute waste of money, the Rolex that is. This unit has an excellent, perfectly aligned bezel that is also snug when rotating. Some have described it as being hard to turn and I disagree. It is not loose at all. Zero wobble. Zero play left or right. It feels smooth when rotating. The crystal is flat but raised a bit. The bezel insert is ceramic and simply looks immaculate. The crown, though I wish were a bit larger, it is HEAVILY guarded by beefy crown guards. The crown is perfectly centered. The underside has been described as being a bit abrasive and I have to agree but I DO NOT feel it affecting my wrist whatsoever. The case is, like the rest of the watch, simply beautiful. Polished on the sides, and where the strap connects, but the top left and right are brushed. Beautiful. It is so far in 5 hours slower by 2 seconds. The lume is stunning. Super bright. Does it last a long time? No. But to me it does not matter because of ALL the other incredible things about the watch. The strap starts out thick at the lugs, but thins out at the ends. It is comfortable, but maybe in time I will get something more substantial, and a strap that does not taper. Once seated on the wrist, the watch barely moves but be aware that it has weight. I personally cannot imagine using this watch with a metal bracelet. For me it would be too heavy. All things considered, for 100 bucks, I am astonished at the quality of this watch. Absolutely amazed at how so much more incredibly expensive it looks, feels, and functions.

Disaster, End Of The World, Armageddon
Year and a half update. I decided it was time for a minor accuracy adjustment. Should have left well enough alone.As you have probably guessed, I “touched” the hair spring. It’s a done deal, no going back.Result of all of all of this is that I liked the ‘Captain’ so much that there was no question but I would replace it. It’s a really nice watch and doubly so for the price.Update: after four days, new ‘Captian’ is running six or seven seconds slow per day out of the box. Close enough. Maybe it will improve after a break-in period.Now, back to the original review….Very masquline, large and heavy, looks good. Very nice face and markings. Very accurate out of the box – off by about a minute over a week’s time before adjusting. I like it!Update after about a year’s use.Will compeat with ANY brand dive watch. Simply amazing watch but when you consider the price …. Crazy!!!Almost a year later.This may be the best value in dive watches anywhere !!! No complaints, just praise. Fully adjustable and capable of high accuracy. VERY DURABLE surfaces. Should last for many years. Bequeath it to your grandchildren.The Addisdive ‘Captian Willard’ watch.

Love the watch, well made. The NH35 movement is accurate enough for my needs and quiet. I haven’t found any defects, everything lines up nicely. It’s heavy, which I personally don’t mind. It has a nice personality to it (thanks to the sand looking dial). Only thing is the band was not comfortable on my wrist. Replaced it with a nice NATO band from Amazon, now it looks and feels even better!!! My daily driver now. If you are looking for a price-minded Seiko Turtle alternative, get this one. Can’t go wrong!!!

Uffff, este reloj es una maravilla.En esta época de relojes smart , este reloj en mi opinión es un excelente accesorio , con mucha fuerza, personalidad y estilo.La iluminación de la pasta luminosa de los números en verde y del bisel en azul es espectacular, no tiene mucha duración como en un Seiko, (siendo el reloj en el cual se inspiró o literalmente copió y que aparece en la película en la muñeca del capitán Willard) su iluminación es muy intensa, incluso en el día se aprecia.Es un reloj chino, pero considero que la relación calidad precio es muy buena, es automático, llevo usándolo varías semanas y estoy muy contento con la compra.El empaque también es muy simpático, una caja de plástico con protectores en hule espuma en el interior.Recomendaría este reloj para personalidades clásicas, diría hasta retro, no creo que sea un reloj juvenil, y si eres fanático de la película y ves el estilo de la película, de los personajes, de los actores, creo que se podrá entender la idea, una imagen vale más que muchas palabras.Recomiendo el producto, tiro seguro si te gustan los relojes

Wanted a Diver watch. Went for this one after reading a lot of reviews. Took too long to arrive , but worth the wait. A homage watch to an iconic product the Willard. Well made. Feels solid , just the right size for my medium wrist. Nice solid band. Heavy-ish . Nice Dial. The Anti reflective Sapphire glass gives a bluish tint which looks cool. The Lume is magnificent. Shining a bright LED light for a few minutes on the watch at night ensures lume for easily over 7 hours The screwdown crown is a great addition at this price point. Has a cool logo engraved on the back and the Dial is nicely readable The automatic movement is Decent. In short gives all the Seikos and Citizens and more expensive brands a run for their money.
