Classy mechanical
I truly love this watch, looks good, feels good on the wrist, feels like quality and looks like quality. It is the perfect mix of skeleton and class. It keeps the time well only with very minor corrections from day to day. This is a favorite watch of mine, it has taken some taps and scrapes from wearing it at work, and it has not scratched. If i had to come up with a negative, it would be that the band doesnt have micro adjustments. All in all, its a good, accurate mechanical watch, and the price is good.

Bought this watch because of the sale price that was being offered and it was more than worth it. The quality is excellent and the appearance is amazing the pictures used to show the watch don’t do it justice. I own several Bulova watches and this one more than lives up too the name.

I am not a person uaually leave comment but for this watch I should leave comment. The watch is not too flash but much elegant than the picture. I have Fossil, Stuhrling, Seiko Cultura solar, Citizan eco-Citizan eco-drive, Skagen, Timex, and Casio G shock but this Bulova is on the TOP.

Very classy mens watch
He loves it. It’s so classy and can be dressed up or down. Totally reminds me of Miami Vice from back in the day! The gold on it is just the right touch to offset the pure white of the watch. It’s also battery free and that’s what he loves about it. The face of the watch isn’t too big either and doesn’t look out of place on a man’s wrist like some do.

Again expectations, and lack of available information seems to have made this an overhyped sensation.This perhaps could have been a magnificent watch. As it is… it is expensive for what it is.First I will say that I got mine from Warehouse deals, so I was expecting a few things to be not new.However the big deal breaker was that the ceramic band had a chip in one of the non-removable links. See pictures.I contemplated if I could trust that the band wouldn’t shatter with this fractured section… but the risk was higher than I felt comfortable with… because the chance is that it would be bumped in exactly the same place. That and that the chip made a sharp edge that kept getting caught on clothing.I don’t own Bulova so I can’t make decisions for them. I don’t know how much more it would be to:1. use a better movement. This movement is hand windable but does not hack as All of their movements in their new watched do (new Miyota movements). Perhaps they don’t have any of the new ones in the Gold??2. Again with the movement. For this price it really should have had a better movement3. It’s a ceramic watch… so obviously the material is a big selling point. How come it only has a mineral crystal and not a sapphire crystal? As an added note these flat Bulova mineral crystals are smudge magnets. Just looking at it and it gets smudged. I will give this crystal a plus in that it does seem to have a good anti reflective undercoating as it is possible to see the time from varying angles.Additionally while I don’t know how the chip happened from the previous owner… It may have been dropped? Or it may have been bumped on something. The fact that it was on a section where the pin holds the band together might prove to be the weak points on this band.Other things that I find don’t work for this watch. It has a very large Lug to Lug (53.8 mm). It is an integrated band but the first link is a male link that extends the lug to lug even further. It uses one of their “sports” designs for the case so that the watch and band do not form well to the wrist. The watch constantly feels like it is jutting out side to side on the top of my arm. Especially on the far side of the wrist (see pic). For reference my wrist is 7 1/2 and watches usually fit at the 8″ hole for me.
