Absolutely love this watch!
I ordered this watch a few months ago and absolutely love it! This is my first Precisionist watch and I have been really impressed. Don’t get me wrong, I love all kinds of watches – automatic, quartz, manual wind, etc, but this watch is such a great value for the performance!My favorite feature by far is the smooth sweeping motion. It is actually significantly smoother than any of my automatics that I own (although I will say, I do not own any high-end automatics, just a few entry-level and a few mid-level automatics).To get an automatic watch that has a sweeping motion as smooth as this Precisionist watch, you would have to spend SIGNIFICANTLY more money.I love the color combination on this watch. I mostly wear it with the included brown leather band (which wore in very nicely and still looks perfect after wearing it daily for months now). Sometimes when I wear black suits for work, I will swap out the band for a black leather band, and it still looks like it could have been shipped that way too.This is a great entry level watch with a great movement that I have thoroughly enjoyed so far!

Accurate
At 43 mm case size this is a large watch but with a tasteful design and reasonable thickness at 10.5mm. The dial is much less busy than many of Bulova’s Precisionist watch designs in my opinion. I find it attractive personally and have fitted mine with a 2 tone rose gold and silver link bracelet.

A Great Deal for a Handsome and Accurate Watch
I bought the blue face/black band of this watch earlier in the year and have enjoyed wearing it. Keeps very accurate time and looks good both with dress clothes and casual. This version was a bit more expensive; though, in my opinion, still a bargain for what you get. No watch at this price will keep such good time and look so good. Others have written about the band, and so I will add a couple of thoughts: first, the brown band is more of a brown/gray mix, which matches no footwear or belts I have or can find; 2. the band is stiff for about 8 hours of wear. Once you get it broken in, it is easy to put on and very comfortable. I often forget I am wearing a watch. FYI, I have a smaller wrist and so have it secured on the second to last hole. Lots of extra strap, but still comfortable to wear.I can highly recommend this handsome watch as a real bargain, and good looking, too.

Unique quartz sweeping second – an eye-catcher!
So this is it – the famous Bulova 262 kHz quartz movement with the smooth sweeping second.Finished in 2012 they announced an accuracy of 10 sec/year. Nowadays they say 5 sec/monthwhich is quite a difference but a good value, too. But no longer HAQ (high accuracy quartz).Typically the movement achieves 2 sec/month. Due to the high quartz frequency and thesweeping second this results in a bit higher energy consumption. That was compensated witha fairly large CR2016 75 mAh battery which could reach a lifespan of 3 years. Sometimes only2 years if the watch got some longer running time before selling or not so good temperatureconditions.Thus energy consumption is technically around 0,003 mA which is 3 times higher than a normalquartz movement uses.Despite some rumours the movement uses no temperature compensation so it works best on thewrist at around 26°C/79°F. Lower temperature results in slower movement. Enough said on this.Let’s talk about the watch itself:A beautiful silver/rose-gold watch with gray dial. But too much polishing. In my opinion brushingwould give a more useful appearance. You see every finger print and more which is kind of annoying.A good microfiber cloth gets permanent attention.I changed the leather strap (22 mm) in the very first contact to one of my favourites althoughit should get more flexibility during some days of wearing.The mineral instead of a sapphire glass is a con but when it is scratchy I will let it change toa sapphire one (~40 $).Seldom to read is the huge problem of color fading and deterioration of the rose-gold hands butif you look closely and open-minded to the pictures available in the net it is fairly evident. Ifinally got one of the newest batch which doesn’t have this problem.Buyers should be aware of it – to accept it as a personal special edition for me is not a solution.Because I like the watch, the look and especially the sweeping second I bought the blue one, too,and probably will buy the black one also. It seems availability is going to run out, so be fast.They certainly will be a good catch at around 180-200 dollars.

Very good looking and awesome watch to have. Impressed by the sweep movement. Feels bit heavy and thin strap. The strap is stiff and colours of strap and dial are good. The dial design is different than grey/black colour. It is Original even it says, water reist or water resistant, high performance quartz or ultra high frequency.Read that battery lasts for 2-3 yrs as it is high frequency quartz. The gold rim is brownish and not yellowish, that is good. Slightly bulky but feels like 38mm.

Este modelo, precisionist, alude a su alta precision. En un mes ni siquiera se mueve un segundo! La correa es comoda. La caja esta finamente pulida y los acabados en oro rosa se ven de buena calidad. El segundero se mueve continuamente dando una vista unica. La caratura es elegante. Tal vez lo que le hizo falta fue que le pusieran mucho mas lumen ya que apenas brilla en la oscuridad. Muy buen reloj para los que gustan de los cuarzos

cosa si può dire di un orologio che usa una tecnologia inventata dalla Bulova che lavora a una frequenza 8 volte superiore a un quarzo normale ha uno scarto 7 8 secondi al anno con questo ho detto tutto
