Bravo, Bulova.
Vintage NYC meets modern minimalism, which fits Bulovaâs design identity. Albeit uninspiring to critics of this brand, itâs ideal for me because I value versatility. Itâs formal AND casual, making it the definition of an âessentialâ piece. Itâs a tad small but thatâs perfect for my 6.25in wrist.I enjoy the strap despite othersâ reviews. The genuine leather feels solid and the alligator embroidering is fine. The polished buckle looks so sharp, and the brushed fork emblem brings the design together with the brushed dial.Consider me impressed! After sporting it, Iâd pay retail if that says anything about the quality/value.

My favorite watch
I’ve worn Bulovas for as long as I can remember. Words that come to me about Bulova and this watch:Automatic, accurate, elegant, dependable, stylish, and choices galore.I love the feel and “old school” appearance, Art Deco-ish rectangular dial and depth. I just bought it and so far, all of my others are languishing in my bureau.I have only one complaint — this model lacks a stainless steel bracelet. Bummer. I would feel giddy if I were wrong and a bracelet can be substituted for the leather strap. Don’t we love those high-class problems? I would have to say ‘yes.’

Real good
To be honest, one of my favorite ones. It is my only rectangular watch, looks great, elegant, yet it also goes well with jeans and sneakers, light weight, accurate, thin with leather band, and it is the right size. I can’t see how some reviewers complain of this piece being a “women” size. This one is a handsome time piece, with a historic horologic name, if you are thinking about it, pull the trigger and wear it with pride.

If you want a tank watch that’s not a Cartier homage, this is a good option
I wanted a rectangular watch in my collection but I didn’t want a Cartier copycat. This Bulova tank is unique in its own right with its simple and clean dial. I think they could’ve done away with the date window but at least it’s in the 6 o’clock position making it look cleaner and symmetrical. The size is just right for me, not too big and not too small. The strap is good for its price range. Bulova also has the automatic, open-heart tank watch but it’s thicker and almost three time the price. And since I won’t be wearing this dress watch every single day, I didn’t want another watch that I have to wind once a week with my other mechanical watches. Overall, this is a really nice budget watch from a brand with a heritage.

Great purchase
Very sleek and slender lightweight watch with great aesthetics. Its a smaller watch, but made with quality materials, so it doesnât need size to catch anyones attention. I got the watch over a year ago and havenât had any issues with the battery yet. I will say i have had to adjust the time a few times which is easy enough to do. It performs well even after being exposed to water/sweat and the material has held up. Since the band is black its very versatile and works with a lot of outfits making it well worth the money.

If you like a watch to have a little heft, this isnât for you . EXTREMELY light . Watch itself is beautiful but the âleatherâ strap is absolute crap. Says strap is made in China and feels more like plastic because I think it has a plastic coating on it.This is just my first impression.I like it, but Iâm not in love, mainly because of the strap, which has left me feeling kind of disappointed overall . Havenât had it long enough to be able to rate accuracy or know if itâs water proof . I DO like the look of it tho!UPDATE!!! Itâs May and I have to say Iâve fallen in love with this watch . I love the simplicity and classic style of it . I donât even mind the strap anymore.IT REALLY GREW ON ME ! Itâs my go to favorite now. Iâve had it since January and itâs kept perfect time! Very nice looking dress watch. 41mm x 29mm x 6mm so it is a little small ( but I have an 8inch wrist.) Really have been trying to find the gold Bulova 96B102 which measure 47mm long (lug-lug) but Amazon no longer carry that model and nearly everyone else seems to be out of stock as well, I think Bulova have discontinued it, so I will just keep looking, in the mean time this silver Bulova 96B107 is a very attractive dress watch.
