Classy watch, especially for the money!
I absolutely love the value of Casio watches and believe everyone should own at least one…or a dozen. The Casio Slide Rule Chronograph is no exception and offers a lot of class at an affordable price.THE GOOD:It looks stylish with excellent contrast in the design and color scheme. The orange second hands and bezel accents are a lovely addition. The chronograph functions flawlessly, and the added “click” when pressing the pushers is a nice touch and serves as confirmation that the buttons were properly engaged. The hour and minute indices around the face are easily-readable, which should be an imperative consideration in any watch.Oh, and it will garner compliments from friends, strangers, and pesky insurance salesmen trying to butter you up.I have not submitted it to aquatic use yet, so I cannot comment on its water resistance. Though, this watch will probably not be one I grab for fishing or other water-related activities.THE BAD:The bracelet. As numerous other commenters have shared, the bracelet feels cheaper than Dollar Tree flip-flops. It functions for its intended purpose and is nice to have when you want to go for that look. However, I replaced mine with black-and-pumpkin silicone band from Barton, which pairs beautifully with the existing color scheme (pictured). Leather bands also look excellent on it.As other commenters have shared, if you are looking to actually USE the slide rule functionality for actual, real-world calculations, you may be out of luck. The slide rule indices inside the rim of the crystal are incredibly tiny, very hard to read in anything but good lighting, and are positioned at such an angle as to make them nearly impossible to read in general. So, if you’re buying this for the purpose of on-the-go mathematics, best to keep looking (perhaps towards the Casio Edifice line).Overall, though, I am very pleased with the watch and happy with the purchase. If you are wanting a stylish chronograph watch that is reliable and won’t break the bank, I highly suggest you purchase it.

Great quality watch for great price for the pilot in your life
Casio makes two aviator watches, this model being the lesser expensive and therefore less technical and detailed. However it’s a gorgeous watch and for the price is much more than I expected. They also offer one for $150 with movable outer bezel to measure fuel consumption and tachymeter. If you’re gifting this to someone who still flies and is wanting everyone to know it get the higher priced one. My gift is a retired pilot he loves this watch highly recommend.

I had to give this one a try – the price made it irresistible
As a watch geek, Amazon knows me and keeps floating temptations my way (thank you Amazon 🙂 ) This interesting watch looked too good to be true – the price was less than the sales tax on one of my big name pure mechanical watches. However, the look was right up there with them – cool looking dial, quality bracelet, chronograph function that works like an Omega Speedmaster (meaning, the timing second hand is stationary at 12 until you press a pusher – the way I like my chronographs) and a pilot watch slide rule like a Breitling I have in my collection. Wow!I test all watches against an atomic clock for accuracy and this quartz movement timepiece scored high marks by being spot on. The stop watch function has a nice “click” when I press the top pusher to start timing and the usual Casio no-click feature when the sweep second hand is stopped (the other Casios I own all do that). Then, to return the hand to 12, there is a nice solid “click” – again, all Casios I own do that. The surprise for me at this price is the well-made bracelet. It’s screams “look at me, I’m expensive” when I know it’s incredibly affordable. Love that. Speaking of the bracelet, I have a fat wrist and I had to remove 3 links to get it to fit properly. I bought the tool needed to do that via Amazon but any jeweler can do it for free or a few dollars. You may need to remove 4 links …I have not tested the waterproof function and I have not tried to use the slide rule – I used slide rules in high school and graduated to calculators so I can’t say “yea” or “Nay” on how useful it it. However, the numbers are tiny and may be too small for AARP eyes like mine (an maybe yours). As for waterproofness – I don’t swim with a watch but I suspect that this will be OK for use around water – watering lawn, washing the car, doing the dishes …Overall, this is a super good bargain if you are looking for fun, accurate, attractive watch…Recommended

Amazing watch, looks like a more expensive watch.
I am not a watch guy, I just decided to start a small and affordable collection. I got this on sale, less than 60 UDS, and the watch is just beautiful. I have a lot of respect for and good memories of Casio, great watches for excellent prices, and they have a reputation of excellent quality. The chronograph design is amazing, it does really look like a more expensive watch. I didn’t like the metal strap, since I wanted to look like an aviator watch, so I got some leather straps for ~12 UDS. The result: amazing watch, see the pictures, and got already compliments, this is just amazing for less than 80 UDS. I am unsure if I will ever spend hundreds of dollars on watches, but this is the first one I have added to my collection and I am super happy. I have the “Casio Men’s EF527D-1AV “Edifice” and “Casio Men’s Diver Inspired” on my wishlist, those are next.

    Extremely accurate well built watch
I have several Casio watches. They all are well designed and work perfectly. This watch quartz movement is extremely accurate. The quality of this watch is amazing. You can’t go wrong with Casio watches. Will definitely buy another watch soon.

Gracias CASIO!

I loved the look of the watch but the price was low so I thought it may be cheap. Finally pulled the trigger after so many times looking around it. It’s awesome 👌 and feels very premium and I love the dial design. The rotating bezel doesn’t click but it’s a smooth feel. Definitely check it out!
