Great smart watch
I was a bit worried from reading all the reviews about the watch not operating as it should. But I have had no issues other than prior to installing the updates it seemed to lag a little, but has performed flawlessly for me, and a great price for a quality watch.

Doesn’t hold a charge long enough
It’s a great looking watch, but it’s large and heavy for my wrist. The charge only lasts 18 hours at best, so there is no way to track daytime activity and then sleep activity, which is what I thought it advertised, and what I was looking for. I reached out to support, and they passed me back and forth until my 30 days to return was up. Lesson learned.

Not What I Would Expect From Citizen
I really wanted this watch to work for me. I read all the negative reviews but when this watch was discounted to $117 on Amazon, I couldn’t pass up trying it out.In my watch collection, I have 14 Citizen watches. I always recommend Citizen watches to my friends and family. As a rule, Citizen watches are durable, accurate and a great value for the price. This watch is the exception to that rule. The build quality was good and the case design was similar to one of the conventional watches in my collection. The screen was very good and the menus/controls were user friendly for the most part. From there, I was disappointed.Initially I had trouble pairing it to my iPhone (actually I had trouble keeping it paired to my iPhone). After a few hours of unsuccessful tweaking I did a factory reset on the watch and started over. Everything paired up and worked fine after starting over after the watch was reset. The Citizen Connect app worked great. The first big issue with this watch is the battery life. Only one day of use did I get close to 24 hours of run time. All other days gave me a battery life of 8 to 12 hours on average. I had one day where it needed to recharged after only 4 hours! The second issue for me was the step count accuracy. I use a Fitbit. This watch and the Fitbit were never close. On days that my Fitbit said I had 10,000 steps, the watch would show 6,000 to 7,000 steps. That is a huge difference that I could not live with. I looked up discussions on-line about the watch’s accuracy and found a site where Citizen claimed they used sophisticated algorithms for tracking so that the watch would only count true steps and not count arm/wrist movements as steps. I found that to not be true. I could sit in a chair and shake my wrist or move my arm and see the step count on the watch display increase with each movement. I also noticed that when walking with my hands in my coat pockets or when pushing a stroller, no steps were detected or counted.Like I said, I really wanted this watch to work for me. I used it for six days and gave it several “second chances” but it never got any better. I do find it hard to believe that Citizen has not addressed the issues noted in this and other reviews. The watch has been on the market for a few years and it is still listed for purchase on the Citizen website so I am puzzled why the watch isn’t better than it is.Believe all the negative reviews and save your money on purchasing this watch. I’m sending this one back.If you are looking for a good conventional watch (not a smart watch), I still recommend Citizen watches.

Disappointed
Was super excited to get a smart watch that looked more like a classic watch, love the gold.Well the battery does not last, so to wear for a full day of work and maybe sleep with it, to use the app, you will have to charge. I Have two other smart watches and when I first got them I could go days without having to charge and not even using it to its full potential. Hard time pairing to phone and you need two apps for the phone instead of one. Sadly I will return for the price for it not to really work especially the battery life not to even go a full day. It Being a new watch it wasn’t a refurbished or like new purchase.(

Cool looking and smart
If I can’t be cool looking and smart, at least my watch can be! I just got it, so can’t speak to longevity, but I’ve owned Citizen watches for multiple decades and they’re fantastic. You get style, function, and usually no need to ever buy another battery. What’s wrong with that? I can’t say enough good about them. Oh, and they’re a great value…you don’t have to spend a fortune to buy one.

Buena resolución de la esfera, pero…
En comparación con otra marca, la baterÃa no dura tanto, y no tiene la opción de elegir una foto personalizada para la esfera. Estoy en Panamá y tuve problemas para bajar el apps por temas de región. En general buen producto

I know why Fossil dropped smartwatches
This watch says Citizen, but it is a Fossil through and through. (Fossil Gen 6, to be specific) This watch is incredibly frustrating to use. Input lag is horrible, and heaven forbid if youâre downloading something when you want to interact with the watch. It literally freezes up. Downloads are painfully slow, and 50% of the time, remote installs via Play Store do not process on the watch. Iâve yet to see more than 5 hours of battery life before the watch switches to extended mode.Watch faces are gimped because they have âcuratedâ your customization options. So the background color and other colors change in unison â you have no granularity. No dark blue with white text for you. Citizen has decided that is no âon brandâ apparently.Calendar does not sync with anything, regardless of the setup process. So, the built-in calendar apps are useless. Google pay no longer exists, so it updated to Google Wallet. This is fine, but when you try to configure a default payment, it wants to use Google Pay through Google Wallet. This really isnât rocket science. If youâre going to go âall-inâ with Wear OS, then do that. This hybrid environment masquerading as Wear OS is broken and inefficient. For what this device costs, the experience should be on par with a Galaxy Watch or an Apple Watch. This isnât TicWatch or Amazfit â people are willing to make allowances for user experience at their prices, though, to be fair, they âget itâ when it comes to UX, generally speaking.Bottom line, if youâre looking for a smartwatch in a more traditional watch casing, this isnât it.

Il mâa fallu un grand nombre dâessais/erreurs avant dâarriver à être pleinement satisfait.

Real lucky if you can get 24 hours of use on a full charge. All other smart watches that have the same functions and cost under $100 get 5 to 7 days on a full charge so why canât this one for the money these cost ?

07/14/23 UPDATE: The watch started getting hot and battery would die in under 4 hours. Returned for replacement.10/26/23 UPDATE: Battery life was just terrible and apps weren’t working. Got so bad across the board that Citizen recalled the watch.

Beautiful and good-looking watch with a lower battery life not even run a whole day.
