Command the sea in style with the new Promaster Dive in a Special Edition box set that’s a must-have for serious divers and enthusiasts alike. This iconic Citizen men’s watch is the latest addition to the Promaster Sea collection with a strikingly original design inspired by the majestic Orca whale. The sporty, high-performance timepiece features a black stainless steel case accented by a black three-hand dial and date with elliptical white hour indices and bezel indentations that evoke the shapes and color scheme of the orca, plus pops of color at the 12 o’clock marker and minute hand. This ISO-compliant dive watch also features anti-magnetic and anti-shock resistance, a one-way rotating elapsed-time bezel, and luminous hands and markers filled with a superior lume for legibility. The black polyurethane strap mimics the form of the orca’s fin and fastens with a buckle, and the watch is water resistant up to 200 meters with a screw-down crown, making it a perfect companion on your next dive, and is sustainably powered by light with Eco-Drive technology that never needs a battery. The special edition box set features a LED flashlight that features 400-lumen brightness for high visibility underwater, waterproof to 60 meters, and shatterproof and shock-resistant. It’s useful for daytime diving as well and will illuminate dark areas above sea level and underwater, including bringing out the colors of underwater organisms. Supplied with 4 x AA Duracell® batteries and adjustable wrist strap. Rated IPX8. This is the ultimate luxury set every diver and dive watch collector will want to own.

Whale this is a nice watch
Great watch, has a raised bezel in a interesting design, all of the light sections on the faces glow in the dark when charged by the sun or lights.Good fit nice weight to it, all black thick rubbery band that feels durable.Rounded Face for viewing underwater, would buy again if anything happens to this one.

    Love it my eco drive.
Purchased a watch through another company and received wrong watch. Amazon had one I purchased and it came with EVERYTHING it was supposed to.

    Orca watch
This watch is an attention getter when it gets dark out the face turned blue and lights up a room. Very accurate time telling big face but not a lot of weight to it. Would recommend it to customers

    it grows on you
I did not like this watch in the beginning mainly because of the band. Its too long but after having it for a while I’m coming around. You get used to the band which is long and very stiff. Please Citizen make some metal bands available for the black Orca! Because its a proprietary band you cant get aftermarket bands to use. The watch itself is a great tough Citizen diver watch and it is a very serviceable design. I would recommend it for someone looking for tough diver type watch for sport diving or just plain outdoor wear.

GREAT dive watch, excellently made and unique aesthetic
This is one heck of a watch!Citizen has a great legacy of producing quality watches, especially given their price point. The eco-drive movement, a proprietary Citizen solar-powered quartz movement, has proven itself over the past decades to be reliable and accurate. This Orca Promaster incorporates the eco-drive movement to great effect, making it both an excellent “grab-and-go” watch that will not need to be wound or reset, as well as making it a great daily wear watch. As you can see, this watch is on the beefy side. It’s 46 mm wide and about 14 mm thick, so it is larger than many other dive watches, but not unwearable by any means. The lugs curve down towards the wrist, which would tend to make it wear smaller; this is offset by the very thick strap, which is stiff and makes it wear larger. These two factors more or less cancel each other out, at least on my 6.5″ wrist. Again, it’s wearable for sure, but it doesn’t disappear on your wrist. The polyurethane strap is integrated, meaning you will not easily be able to swap this strap out. See the photos for what I mean. Granted, the strap does have small cutouts in the back, to allow easier access for a spring bar tool, but the point is that you would have to get an aftermarket strap that was custom fit to this watch in order to change the strap out. The strap tapers to 20mm for most of its length, and is also ridged like the spine of the watch’s namesake.Build quality is excellent. The whole watch is black-PVD coated, thickly, and looks quite sleek in person. The crystal is mineral, which may be a gripe for some. It’s thick and domed. Weight of the whole watch is 120 grams. The crown is the best I have handled on ANY watch, bar none. That includes Swiss watches, other Japanese watches, American-made, you name it. The crown is of the screw-down type, with a little spring that pops it out to the unscrewed, neutral position once you have unscrewed it. It clicks very solidly into the first and second extensions, and the adjustment is positive, with no creep or slop. Screw-down is also short, about 1/2 or 3/4 of a turn. The crown is also signed with the Citizen “broad arrow” which can also be seen on the dial. The bezel is 60-click, unidirectional, coin-edge, and has zero backplay. ZERO. That’s nice. There was no detectable slop in the motion either. The bezel action is not gritty and has no creep, but neither is it snappy… perhaps I could best describe it as “precise” and “firm” although these terms are subjective.Legibility is great, with a short, stocky hour hand and a longer minute hand with a triangular arrow at the pointer end.The seconds hand is a double-lollipop style, i.e. there’s a lollipop circle neat the pointer end, but there’s also a larger circle on the counterbalanced end. This becomes more noticeable in the dark, when those circles really pop due to the lume.Night visibility is excellent, with a bi-color lume application. Cyan blue for the dial, and the more traditional light green for the hands and the lume pip on the bezel. Lume lasts for hours. It’s not quite as bright as the Seiko Monster lume (which you can actually read text by in the dark) but it’s a close second and certainly sufficient for telling the time. The date window is color-matched (i.e., it’s black with white text) and the action is crisp. The dial itself is slightly textured. The photos I took will show that if you look at them close up. The effect is subtle and overall serves to soften the black color of the dial. It’s perhaps described as “muted black” or “off-black” or perhaps even more exactly “anthracite.” It’s nice, and in my opinion it’s better than just a plain glossy black dial.A bonus LED Lenser flashlight is included. It runs on 4 (included) AA batteries and is quite bright, with a double o-ring sealed body (meaning it’s waterproof.) LED Lenser is also a respected name in the flashlight world. The flashlight does not glow in the dark, but the body is made of that high-vis “safety yellow” that you see in safety vests and the like. It’s a great addition to the whole package.Overall, this is a really fantastic watch. See the video as well for a walkthrough and to see it in motion. I would say, in closing, if you like the aesthetics of it, go for it. The quality is there to back it up.

    Beautiful watch
It’s a really beautiful watch. The black stainless looks great and the design is incredibly unique. I love the eco drive capability that prevents me ever having to worry about a battery. It’s on the heavier side but in a substantial way, not a overly heavy way. The strap is a little long, but the stay’s do a perfect job of keeping everything neat and clean. The package includes a nice waterproof flashlight and diving case which really illustrates the focus on divining with this watch. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this watch. It far exceeded my expectations. Great watch.
