My Review –
Beautiful Graphic Dial. High Quality. Sapphire crystal.
This is my favorite Citizen watch! I’m not a big Star Wars fan, but, I did like the fact that this does pay homage to the movie and it is a limited, numbered edition (total of 1977 produced. Mine is 0244). I love the way the dial looks. The graphic pattern on the dial is very stylish and the chrome colored numbers are super easy to read. I love the fact that this watch has a sapphire crystal as well for reliability and longevity. I also like the black colored stainless steel bracelet because regular silver color stainless steel is a not a good look for my skin tone. Note that black painted stainless steel bracelets are delicate in that the color can be scratched off if the watch not worn gently, but this is not a problem for me and the color is worth it. This is my third Citizen Eco drive watch and each one of them keeps great time and looks great.

Truly One-Of-A-Kind Watch
Over the years, I’ve owned quite a few expensive watches, but this one has become my favorite watch to wear on a daily basis. The craftsmanship of this watch is exceptional and on par with those costing at least ten times more. It’s truly is the embodiment of high-quality and elegance combined. The pictures might not do it justice. In person, however, it definitely has a luxurious and premium feel to touch. The design of this watch mimics Darth Vader himself really well. First, the red second hand represents his lightsaber. Second, the incorporation of elements from his helmet and chest plate with blue and red accents are fantastic. Moreover, the minute and hour hands, plus outer minute track and Imperial symbol glow in the dark which is really cool in my opinion. I love that the watch is powered by any light with its Eco-Drive technology, which means I will never need or change battery. When the watch is not in use or put away, it can still run for approximately six months from full charge to stop. Also, when the stored energy is running low, the second hand moves at two-second intervals as a warning to recharge. The fact that only 1977 of these are made, the year the first Star Wars movie was released, makes it unique and collectible item. The only thing I find a little annoying about this watch is its calendar feature, which is based on a 31-day month. So, it must be manually adjusted for months that are shorter than 31 days. This could be a hassle for some, but I’m fine with it since the process is very simple and quick. Overall, I’m very happy to have owned a piece of history.

Solar powered limited edition Darth Vader . . . whats not to like?
Love this watch! I have always been a fan of Citizen watches and designs. The black metal wristband matches the design of the watch and face. The solar powered eco-drive lasts for 6 months on a full charge (takes about 2 min of sunlight/day, or 4 hours of avg office light/day to provide a days operation). I love the engraving on the back, and the glow in the dark circle on the watch (Death Star). The collectors box comes with a Darth Vader pin, which is cool (not sure what I will do with it).
