Nice watch
Got a great prime day discount. Beautiful watch. May take an extra second to read if not used to it because the minutes rather than hours are on the dial. The chronograph/second/timer dial is rather small, so that’s more of a gimmick if your eyesight is bad. I usually avoid leather but it’s the most comfortable band option – natural and no pulled hairs. The watch is very accurate as well.

The nicest thing I own
I’ve been waiting for this since prime day and I’m not in the least bit disappointed.A couple weeks ago I was thinking of ideas for a gift to myself to celebrate surviving the hard times I’ve been going through. I grew up poor, in a town where the only opportunity is aerospace.By some strange miracle, I ended up working for one of the big companies, as a contractor doing maintenance on automated equipment. A few years later I got an offer to move out of my home town and work with an even bigger name, in house. I accepted because it was the only way I’d ever have a chance at climbing the ladder.A year and a half later I was fired because I refused to compromise quality for shareholder value.A couple months later I now work for an entirely different huge name and I could not be happier.This particular watch is a reflection of my values. It’s not huge, but not small either. The strap is really well made as is the case. So far it seems to be moving smoothly and accurately, including the chronograph. Once you download the instructions it’s easy to set and use for every day.And the green around the face is my favorite color.This watch is now the nicest thing I own because I’ve never really had anything nice to begin with but also because the craftsmanship and quality that Citizen have imbued it with perfectly represent who I am, who I want to be as a person.It’s not gawdy and it’s not flashy. It’s reliable and well made while being affordable for those of us coming up in the world.It’s a testament to excellence.

I was a bit wary about buying a Citizen on Amazon, but this watch is the real deal.Looks and feels very elite. The timepieceâs functionality is expansive and it feels comfortable on the wrist.The leather strap is the perfect compliment to the green and silver watch face. I am enjoying yet another Citizen watch in my wrist.

Excellent Casual Watch
The green face and bezel really pop. Swapped out the leather strap for a steel bracelet and it really shines.The downsides are the small date window and the leather strap.The window is too small for a 44mm case. It serves its purpose, but it just doesnât look right.The leather strap is too short for an 8in wrist, and feels cheap and sharp. I had a bracelet that fits perfect so not a huge issue. With the new bracelet on the watch is very comfortable and not too noticeable with the 44mm face.This piece is worth a sale price under $150, but not retail of over $300. For new collectors or enthusiasts itâs a fun piece. I wanted something green and this fit the bill. I will use this as a casual watch compared a similar styled and sized Bulova Sutton which is more formal.Overall nice piece, but worth full price.

Great watch
If you like the color green, this citizen watch is for you. Out of all the citizen watches Iâve used this is the most comfortable with the leather band and weight ratio. Iâm a big guy but it fits on my wrist pretty well and itâs really easy to set up.

Nice looking watch with some weaknesses in function
The green dial and leather strap look very good and seem well made, but there are shortcomings in functionality. There is a bezel, but it doesn’t rotate. It says tachymeter on the bezel along with some numbers, but I can’t find any explanation of them. Perhaps they are meant to be decorative. My biggest complaint is the date window. The numbers are so deeply recessed, small and hard to read that it is almost useless. You have to look very closely with direct lighting to read it. I’m surprised that they found this design acceptable. I bought the watch on Prime Day at a good discount and still considered returning it. The watch keeps good time and I like the fact that I won’t have to replace the battery, but I was disappointed.
