goodbye to my $1k watch
this band is terrible. the clasp gives out constantly. Last night I didn’t notice when/where it happened. so my watch is gone now. spend the extra money and go buy the watch band on garmins website.

Ich habe auch einige Bilder zu den zwei von mir gekauften Armbändern gemacht, zwei davon mit dem Original-Garmin-Armband als Vergleich. Ein Armband habe ich in Armeegrün-Schwarz für Alltag und Wochenende, ein zweites für Sport in Orange-Schwarze gekauft. Meine Smartwatch ist eine Garmin Fenix 7X Solar – das Modell stand zwar nicht in der Liste der kompatiblen Uhren, wo nur die 7X und 7X Pro verzeichnet ist, aber die Bänder passten perfekt, was ich auch vermutete, da alle drei Modelle das Quickfit-System und 26mm breite Armbänder haben.Beide Bänder sind an der Seite, die man beim Tragen sieht, vollständig in ihrer jeweiligen Hauptfarbe. Die schwarze Farbe sieht man zwischen den Löchern für die Lasche der SchlieÃe sowie ebenfalls auf der Innenseite des Armbands, falls man die Uhr ausgezogen oder die Bänder abgenommen hat. Falls jemand sich für das Gewicht interessiert: Ich habe 29 Gramm für ein komplettes Armband gewogen. Mein Original-Band von Garmin für die Fenix 7X Solar wiegt mit 28 Gramm quasi gleichviel.Das An- und Ab-Stecken funktioniert problemlos, das Abstecken ist vielleicht einen Tick fummeliger als beim Original-Armband, geht aber auch Sekundenschnell. Ansonsten erscheint mir die Qualität einwandfrei zu sein. Der Schiebe-Mechanismus ist etwas schmaler als beim Original-Band, wobei ich nicht denke, dass dies einen Unterschied macht.Es sind auch zwei Schraubendreher dabei – ich weià nicht, ob diese für bestimmte Modelle von Garmin nötig sind – für meine Fenix 7X Solar brauchte ich sie nicht. Eventuell sind sie auch nur für den Fall dabei, dass man den Mechanismus für eine Reinigung oder Schmieren mit WD40 öffnen möchte, da dieser zwei Schrauben hat.Der Preis der Armbänder von jeweils unter 10 Euro zeigt in meinen Augen, wie viel Geld einige Hersteller mit ihren Original-Zubehörteilen machen. Denn die Qualität scheint ebenbürtig zu sein, und es handelt sich auch nicht um seltsam riechendes Billig-Material. Daher klare 5 Sterne.
