Really cool, fingers crossed
So I really wanted something sort of steampunk as a watch, but the best I could do was a Bulova Skeleton which was still pretty conventional. Seeing it in this whirling around above my desk totally scratched that itch. The Good : Watch seems in there firmly. Movement is fun. Watch winds (which I guess is the actual purpose). The Bad : The push button for three settings has almost zero feedback so you’re kind of crossing your fingers that it registered your 1-3 clicks. It’s not loud, but you definitely hear it. It’s fine for my purposes, but I wouldn’t have it on my nightstand. Durability is obviously a crapshoot at this point with just a couple reviews.

Why is the watch attachment moving during rotation? The watch attachment fits into the two holes, but it is not held tightly, so due to the design, when the winder turns so the watch itself is on the side, the attachment drops a few mm due to gravity, and then, when the winder goes back to a more horizontal orientation for the watch, the attachment moves the other way. This is noise and inelegant.
