Pros:
1. Shipping was fantastic. It came in an Amazon box, another brown box, and then a final box. So three layers of protection. It also came with foam cover so everything was in perfect shape. I was worried about shipping due to all the glass involved with this item.
2. Very nice quality product. Fit and finish is solid. The piano finish arrived with no damage or scratches. The liner inside is nice and tight with no loose ends. The finger print sensor works well and it feel premium when you open and close the door. The back has a metal plate with the branding and the buttons have LEDs. The touch screen works very well and is very responsive. It also has a vibration to let you know that it registered your touch. All the glass has no scratches but I do suggest that wipe them down cause it came with a hazy film on them. The watch showcase at the top does have a mirror at the back.
3. Watch winding is very quiet. I like that you can go as low as 300 revolutions. Most watch winders have a minimum of 650. The touch screen you can customize each watch winder individually or select them all to be in sync. You can manually control the lights and it has three levels of brightness. You can also select the amount of run time. Everything is very easy to figure out.
4. Came with a few accessory’s, a remote, a brush, key, and manual which is very clear and easy to read. It has an adapter and cable included.
5. Price is fair for what you receive. Although I got this on vine, I would happily pay the regular price asked.
Cons:
1. This is made for larger watches. I have a Rolex and very small wrist. Even taking the back plate off the pillow, the jubilee didn’t fit. I even took the spring out and it still didn’t fit. I would have to cut the watch pillow to get it work. It fits my regular bands fine but beware if you have a small wrist and metal bracelet. It is just the design of the pillow case and it doesn’t work well with smaller metal bands.
2. It is a little difficult to get the pillow cases in and out. It requires a little force and at first, I thought I was going to break it. I’m not sure how it will affect the spinning mechanism over time, forcing it in and out. It also has to go in a certain way so the pins line up. My other watch winder, you can put it in any direction.
3. Lighting is a little oddly placed. It’s not bad but seems like a little afterthought. The blue is a little loud especially with the lights on.
Summary:
I highly recommend this product. Very happy with the quality of the winder and feel confident suggesting it to someone on the fence. Just beware if you have metal bracelets and smaller wrist. The watch pillows will not work with them potentially. Couldn’t be happier with this item.
