You have to be careful with this one. This isn’t a soldered together mess like most of them. It has the proper double screw links. You have to carefully undo two screws to remove links, and you will end up putting the bracelet back together with the individual links. Just like the real one. If you get confused, match the shiny and unshiny sides, and keep the links pointing to the sames side. The link screws screw past their thread in the endcap, and spin freely. This is very confusing until you figure it out. Also, it might be a good idea to check your link screws and tighten them. There’s no way the pins are backing out if they are past their cap threads, but one of mine was sticking up little. With this design if you have them screwed down, they’ll never come loose. If one of the screws is on it’s threads, it will probably eventually fall out on it’s own. Be warned. It’s just how the design works. Once you get it right, and all your link screws are past their threads and spinning, you’ll have a lifetime of not caring ever again.

I’ve always admired the Breitling band as an owner of Rolex Oyster Datejust all stainless and an Omega Seamster professional 18k and stainless back before Q gave one to James Bond. I never felt the desire to get another watch.However, at 50 I wanted a health monitor and then came the Apple Watch. I picked up some Barton 22mm adapters and started dressing up the watch with a couple of these very cool Breitling types in all polished 316 stainless steel and one in a polished stainless and gold tone. The adjustments were easy with a few must have tools on this one for pin removal but they are cheap and easy to use. This band has a more exaggerated taper from 22mm at the lugs narrowing to about 18mm at the deployment clasp.Barton makes 22mm lug adapters in chrome and gold for a perfect fit on 22mm watch bands at the lug. It is possible to buy other adapters that allow the 20mm band to fit with no gaps. It just depends on which watch you are placing the band on and how you want it to look but that is personal preference and you can decide if you want the band in narrower fit to make the watch head proportion look larger. There are lots of ways to do it.The Apple Watch Series 4 in the smaller version, 40mm with 22mm lug adapters to this 22mm Breitling style 7 link is the one you see in the pictures I’ve provided. I swap out chrome and gold adapters occasionally. It’s very subtle but sort of makes it more versatile with mix and matching belt and cuff links. The pictures show both options.This band has the most independent link movement for a silky smooth and comfortable fit. The smooth link movement together with the taper of the band makes the watch super comfortable for all activities. This has become my every day band for all occasion use. Rinse and dry out of the shower and it looks like new all the time.The pictures really don’t do it justice, especially the ones all the sellers use. Their pictures don’t really do the band justice. The cool factor of the link design is better looking in person.
