Decent affordable dive watch
I’ve been stalking this watch for a little while, being patient because I knew they occasionally drop in price for a short time. When it dipped to $85, I struck. The price even justified the long shipping time of nearly three weeks.Itâs quite a nice âdiveâ watch, aesthetically, for the money. With a modest 10ATM (330ft) water resistance, it is definitely safe to wear in the pool or in the shower but I donât know that I would trust it on an actual dive. It is just a Fossil after all. I have a slew of other real dive watches for actual diving. To my pleasant surprise, the unidirectional bezel has 120 clicks for precise dive time setting. Even my much more expensive Luminox watch is only 60 clicks. The green sunray dial is attractive and the hour indices are not printed. They are individually attached. The bubble lens over the date magnifies the date sufficiently as well.I bought the model with the steel band option because it was cheaper than the brown leather band option. I just swapped out the band with one I already had and saved myself $20. The green Sunday dial with the brick red leather pilot strap I put on it is quite a nice color combo. Overall I’m pretty pleased with this watch. It’s nice enough to not look like a cheap Timex inexpensive enough that I won’t get upset from scratches from everyday wear. Great everyday watch.

good watch for a fair price
the price on these fluctuate quite a bit, so keep an eye on it and you should be able to get it as low as $85, if you’re patient. watch prices can really get crazy but this is a solidly made, good looking watch. some fossil watches even look a lot like waaaay more pricey rolexes. 97% of people probably couldn’t tell the difference unless they looked REALLY close. i’m sorry but there’s no way i’m spending several thousands of dollars on something that just tells the time and date. i don’t have to worry if this gets banged up, lost or even stolen.i did buy an invictica watch that looked very similar and was a little cheaper but there was a big difference in the quality. invictica is junk, imo. spend $20-30 more on a fossil or even a little more on a seiko.

Good Watch with a few Cons
Pros:-Good quality, weight, materials and look.-It has quick release spring bars to switch watch bands which is a great feature to include.Cons:-Watch battery was dead upon arrival. It seems the watch was sitting for some time before shipping,and was already active, burning through the battery.Personally I dont see this as a huge issue as I replace watch batteries on my own.-The date bubble makes the numbers blurry and much larger than they need to be.(Edit) turns out the first watch I received did not work at all. Even after a new battery. Thankfully a replacement was shipped a few days later and works just fine.

The GMT hand looses 4 hours per day!!!!
I like the Fossil Brand, had good experiences in the past. I received this watch model FS6049, and it was already running. I adjusted it per the Fossil web site instructions.The red GMT hand loses over 4 hours per day. I am returning it as I have seen other reviewers, not just on Amazon, state that they have the same problem. Now I have to pay a premium over the Amazon Day price is I wish to replace it, which I am loathe to do. Very disappointed in Fossil.

Bought this for my son for Christmas, love that he wanted an “old school” watch and not a smart watch. He has loved this watch and it has held up well in his sports activities. Definitely a great starter watch!

A beautiful looking watch with a classic style. Very clear glass/crystal and easy to read. Leather strap is comfortable and looks sturdy. I was glad to purchase this watch while on sale. Better value that way. I will have to see how long the watch and the strap last. Looking forward to wearing it.
