Excellent purchase!
thought I would have to replace our Garmin collar (and spend $150). Then I saw the battery and decided to give it a try. It was very easy to install (be patient and take your time). You will need a mini Phillips screwdriver to use along with the screwdriver that is included. The battery is working well and holding its charge all day. I appreciated the significant cost savings of replacing just the battery.

Doesn’t hold a charge
I bought this to replace the 3 year old battery in my old Garmin e-collar that stopped holding a charge. It was non-trivial to replace the battery in the collar; not rocket science, but some incredibly tiny screws inside of the device. I also ended up bending the old battery taking it out and it got very hot (damaged batteries are a fire hazard) so I let it soak in water outside to cool off. That part was probably on me. The new battery went in easily enough afterwards, and I managed to get the tiny screws back in. Charged and worked the first time. However, the collar died after a couple of hours of use. They probably sent me an old one. Incredibly annoying. Now I have to spend the money to replace the collar. Incredibly annoying when the collar is likely fine.

Good fit for Garmin gps
Easy replacement with proper tools, tool provided did not match screws provided. Battery seems fine but unfortunately not the solution to unit malfunction. Good replacement battery.

Easy to install
Super easy to install. It is hard to judge THIS battery’s life, but my last one lasted 3 years. The last one was used for hunt training the first two years, and then worn daily. I call these Freedom Collars. My dogs are allowed to roam far, and these keep them safe.

Need correct screws
So far battery works great. I wish they sent the correct screws though. The tool they sent had a torq head but the included screws have Phillips & theyâre only half as long as the original screws & only 2 included when transmitter has 7 screws. Wouldnât be an issue but some of my screws stripped when trying to get them out.

I liked that they sent a tool to remove the old battery & install the new one. Along with extra screws. The battery works well.
