    Nice watch two day battery
I’ve had my Google pixle watch for about a week now, and I’ll share my first impressions. I’m sixty-three years old and this technology is something I’ve been waiting for, for over fifty years. I’ll come back in a month and share my experience with it then.It looks fantastic, sleek and thin. It’s a beautiful expression of technology and styling. It does everything I need it to do, and it does it well. I’m running the cardio monitor to detect a-fib, so the battery life is pretty short. It’s a small price to pay for a good cardiac monitor. If I have to charge it every day, it’s all good.I love the screen, and the fact that I can read and respond to text messages and email by voice, very cool. The only complaint I could possibly have, is the battery life, it’s very short. I probably need to turn off some of apps I have running. Other than that, I’m loving the new watch. It is very cool!EDIT : after the watch did all the updates, the battery life improved dramatically. I easily get two days of use per charge. It charges very quickly (in about an hour) and I am very pleased with my decision to purchase a Google pixle watch!

    Best Fitbit Ever
This is not only a great watch, phone device, computer, and tablet but a Fitbit as well. I have used a step counter since 2013. Fitbit has always been a great brand. Google health mixed with Fitbit is amazing. In addition MyFitnessPal and Peleton apps work on this watch. It even plays blackjack games! The one issue is battery life, and you will have to charge it daily for an hour or more. In addition you need to switch on the battery saver as it runs out of power fast when off. You have to try not to wash it too much as it is not great with water. I don’t mind these limits, and I am glad I got this great device. I feel like Penny from Inspector Gadget as a super spy using a computer watch.

*READ BEFORE BUYING!* Honest Review – Ran Tests
Battery life is the only thing I was really worried about when I bought this. Does everything I want it to do.Update:I’ve had this watch for about four days now and found out a few things. LTE and WiFi use a god awful lot of battery. I ran multiple tests with the battery on this watch and think they would be beneficial to provide in a review.Test Results: • Battery Charging TimeThe watch was completely dead when I opened the box. Went from 0 to 50% in less than a half hour and finished it’s charging in about another half hour. In total charging from 0 to 100% was about an hour.• Battery LifeWhen I had LTE and WiFi on, It used a whole lot more battery life than it did with it only when needed, or off. All of these battery tests were run from 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM. With LTE and WiFi on all day I was left with about 15 precent left. With LTE and WiFi on only when needed, I was left with about 40 precent left. With it off all day, (Only Bluetooth was on) I was left with 60 precent. When I ran these battery life tests, tilt to wake was off to save battery. Your personal results may vary depending on usage.* BATTERY TESTS END HERE *— — — — — — — —My Review:• QualityWatch feels very high quality. Came in a really well packaged box. Felt really nice to open.• PersonalizationYou are able to change out bands you buy aftermarket, or from the Google store. My recommendation is to buy aftermarket bands. Google’s bands are overpriced. You are also able to change the watch face and color (depends on face) to your liking.• SetupSetup was very seamless. It was really just clicking buttons and agreeing to TOS and things like that. With eSim activation it was very seamless with Google Fi. If you use any other service providers. I don’t know how that will work.• LTE Costs? With Google Fi, there is no extra cost to adding your watch to your plan. (Max. of 1 watch per user on plan) Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and other mobile providers costs may vary. I recommend for you to create a customer service ticket before buying this watch with LTE if you use anything else other than Google Fi.• Emergency FeaturesWear OS 4 on the Pixel Watch includes fall detection, safety check, SOS, Medical Info Access, and Emergency Sharing for your safety and protection. For more information about what those features are, I recommend for you to visit the Google page for the Pixel Watch.• Apps FunctionalityApps are fairly smooth. Pixel Watch comes with a 6 months fitbit premium trial. Both apps setup is fairly smooth. Fitbit is also a part of health Connect for Pixel phones so it will link up with other fitness apps you have for your phone or watch.

more comfortable than Apple watch (bonus tip on Dexcom readings)
I’ve gone back and forth between Apple and Android, and I’ve always thought that the best thing about iPhones was the Apple Watch. I’ve always been disappointed that Android users didn’t have a really good smart watch option. But now we do! The Pixel Watch does everything I want it to do, plus it looks great and is very comfortable for my narrow wrists. I have had a few little hiccups, but I expected that since the device is so new. Google will continue to release software improvements, but it’s certainly good enough right now.The battery is not ideal, but I can get by with charging once a day. It will charge ~30% quickly but it takes over an hour for a full charge. If you don’t need a new smartwatch right now, it might be worth waiting for the second generation so they can improve the battery life.[This advice is posted Nov 2022 and may become outdated very quickly] For my diabetic friends: It is possible to get your Dexcom readings on the Pixel Watch, but it’s not out-of-the-box. (That’s Dexcom’s fault and true for all Android watches). If you want to get your Dexcom readings on your watch, take some aspirin first, and then search Reddit for your options. There are multiple options but I had the best luck with an app called G-Watch Wear App. In the photo of my watchface, the Dexcom reading is the middle circle, and I also have the option to open more detailed info. When I had the apple watch my Dexcom data would fail to update but there was no way of knowing. On the G-Watch app, there is a little timestamp showing when it collected the data. Dexcom refreshes every 5 minutes, so if the timestamp is more than 5 minutes old you may want to check your phone for your most current reading.

The Google Pixel watch is amazing. I don’t know why people are complaining. Regarding the battery, just turn and leave on the battery saver after charging. After doing that, the battery lasted 22.5 hours. There is no need to disable or turn off any “power draining apps”. There is a continuous mention by Google not to leave the watch display on,you will see this in the Pixel app during set up. Follow the instructions while setting up the watch , after doing so check out some of the tutorials on YouTube about the Pixel watch and some of the hidden features, they are very helpful.

When you first look at the reviews you see the very negative and unfair review by amazon reviewer “James”.And I feel like if you’re looking to buy this watch for the first time, his review will give you hesitation..I am here to counter his points and try to give this watch the praise it deserves for being Google’s first wearable..While it’s understandable that he has encountered some frustrations with the device, let’s try to find some positive aspects to counter those negative points: Despite the battery life not lasting a full day, it shows that the device is power-efficient, as it can operate for a significant portion of the day even with regular use. I get a full day and a half and that is with the always on display which sucks power like crazy.. For me battery life has been great and better than the Galaxy Watch Actives I used to own.He isn’t wrong about the over active calorie tracking..But while it may overestimate the number of calories burned, it shows that the device is sensitive to even the slightest movement, which can be motivating for individuals looking to increase their physical activity levels. It diligently monitors your physical activity and provides detailed information, including calorie tracking. While the accuracy might be subjective, the device’s sensitivity to movement motivates users to achieve their health goals. Sure, it might overestimate the calories burned, but it keeps me motivated and aware of my activity levels. I mean, who doesn’t want a little extra encouragement?Versatile Multi-functionality:This smartwatch is probably the most *smartest* one out there. Multitasking abilities are so impressive, it could give a plate spinner a run for their money. It’s like a one-person circus, juggling notifications, apps with ease. With an array of features, this device transcends the boundaries of a regular smartwatch. It seamlessly integrates with various apps, providing convenience and accessibility to essential functions right on your wrist. It truly simplifies your digital life. It’s not just a basic fitness tracker, oh no. It’s a true multitasker that seamlessly integrates with various apps, making my life so much easier. I can receive and respond to messages and emails right from my wrist, ensuring I never miss an important notification.Seamless Connectivity: Having messaging and email apps on the device is a game-changer. It enables quick access to important notifications, ensuring you never miss an urgent message. While it may not be ideal for writing lengthy emails, it serves as a convenient tool for staying connected on the go.User Interface:The presence of buttons and a dial on the device can be advantageous for individuals who prefer tactile input or quick access to certain functions. These physical actuators can offer an alternative navigation method, especially for those who find touchscreen scrolling less comfortable.Stylish and Elegant DesignWith its stylish round screen, this smartwatch is the fashionista of the tech world. It’s the Audrey Hepburn of wearables, effortlessly blending elegance and functionality. The round screen adds a touch of elegance and sophistication, making it a real fashion statement. I’ve received so many compliments on its stylish look. Watch Apple in 1-2 years reveal a round design Apple watch and claim they reinvented the watch game and everyone praises them. *sigh*Google Wallet Function: Undoubtedly the best feature in this watch is the Google Wallet. It’s a game-changer for seamless payments. I never thought I’d enjoy a payment feature this much, but it’s so convenient and efficient. Plus, it gives me an excuse to ditch my bulky wallet. Makes paying for things so convenient, it’s like having a genie grant your shopping wishes. Just be careful not to rub the smartwatch too vigorously, or it might start granting other wishes! While the top review highlighted several negative aspects of the smartwatch, it’s important to consider a balanced perspective before making a purchase decision. Every individual has different needs and preferences, so it’s essential to thoroughly evaluate the features and drawbacks. Remember to read multiple reviews, explore different options, and prioritize what matters most to you. Don’t solely rely on one review, but rather gather a range of opinions to make an informed choice that aligns with your specific requirements. Happy shopping!

Beautiful appearance. Polished and appears well built too. Dial is small, software and UI needs improvement and fixing. Google should release an update and fix many of the shortcomings pointed out by professional reviewers. For now, Apple Watch still remains the undisputed king of the smartwatches. Google if they can fix the bugs, and smoothen the UI and software issues, can seriously pose a grave threat to Apple Watch and gain many fold customers too.
