Very nice watch, but bulky
This really is a very modern and classic looking watch at the same time. I found the watch to be very heavy and the lug on the right seemed to stick out a lot, to the point that it would dig in the side of my wrist. I also found that the adjustments on the band were not small (or incremental enough) to adjust for my size wrist. Being 44mm, this is one of those large, modern watches, which depends on your taste of watches. It seemed well made, even though it does appear to be a little gaudy, which is typical of Gucci I suppose. It’s automatic, which is great, but like most other automatics, you’ll be lucky to get two days of winding out of it.
The case on the back is not see through, but that doesn’t really matter and the glass can make it more susceptible to getting hurt.
Overall, this is a decent watch, but it just didn’t seem to be for me. It might have been nicer in a leather band, which would also make it lighter weight. I have traditionally like metal bands, but it made this watch seem heavy. I decided to return mine. I opted for Hamilton Men’s H32515555 Jazzmaster Silver Dial Watch instead, which I am very happy with.

Watching The Swiss Time
There is no question about Gucci and the way they have brilliantly made automatic watches. They definitely have stood out with fashion, but overall have more with high-fashion that delivering great with watches. They have shown it, but more can always be added. That is the case with this G Timeless Automatic Watch. It is a very simple watch, and shows a strong automatic movement. Yet, it does have a few faults. It has no illuminated hands that glow in the dark unlike other brands like Victorinox and Bulova. It is a simple stainless steel silver-tone bracelet watch that is comfortable, but more could’ve stood out with its quality. Still, if you are a fan of Gucci and seeking a automatic watch, than this one should be on your list.
