Beautifully done. Even the dark red polished box
Beautifully done. Even the dark red polished box. But the corner of the box was smashed in when arrived. The book is not very intuitive to read and to understand. It’s so generic, apparently covers all models !

Longines Customer Service is Beyond Sub-Par
I did not purchase this watch, but have had to deal with Longines customer service in Switzerland regarding a watch that belonged to my grandfather. The experience has convinced me that unless you have quite a bit of money and don’t mind bad customer service, don’t consider a Longines.A certified watchmaker I trust locally sent the watch in to get the crystal replaced (it had cracked). The service center in Switzerland insisted that they needed to do a $2000 basic maintenance because “little bits of crystal may have gotten into the watch.” They refused to only replace the crystal, even though the watchmaker communicated that I would in no way hold them liable for anything (and he had just done cleaning/maintenance for $300). They also refused to sell the watchmaker the crystal so that he could replace it himself, and they were unable to give the watchmaker the crystal number because they stated that they do not have that information as they manufacture vintage crystals on a case-by-case basis. So I’ve payed $100 in shipping and insurance, for nothing. From this experience, my opinion is that Longines customer service is ridiculously bad.

One of the most elegant watches youâll ever see
I did not buy my watch from Amazon, ( l was in a rush), this is one of the most beautiful watchers I ever seen, impeccable finish, all the heads lightening up absolutely perfect, it is very elegant looks great on the bracelet or leather straps. It is a perfect size, looks great in shorts and T-shirts or tuxedo, highly recommend it. P.S. I just received my watch back from Longines, first service, it took seven weeks, ( they said itâs gonna take eight weeks, maybe more ) Communication was very pleasant and very professional, I have received my watch basically brand-new again, with the letter of explanation what kind of work has been done and certificate of service. The whole thing cost me $375.
