Itâs a dandy. Recommend.
Great little watch. Easy to follow directions except I had to figure out what lunitidal intervals are. (Easy to learn). I like the moon phase image, and it gets the moon phase from the date.Pure Casio quality. Great value.I havenât gotten it in water yet.

Best cheap tide watch for surfing.
I surf and wanted a watch for that. It has basic tide and lunar information, which is great for timing your surfing sessions. It looks nice, and does the job.I’ve had a little scuffing on face now, but I’m in the water a lot, and probably just my fault form sand abrasion.

sweet spot
in terms of cost/benefit, i see this as the best in the line. i just don’t get the big clunky more expensive, difficult to read, difficult to use, iffy reviews on reliability, others…i just don’t get them, try as i have .this is suitable. almost readable. useful tide/moon functions. all the rest of course tooi updated this review and took off a star for the awful (non luminencent, which i knew) led light, and the almost inaudible alarm.

Great Watch for Boaters
I live by the water a d do a lot of boating and sailing. This watch does everything a normal digital watch does but it also gives you the local tides. That is indispensable for me. It saves me a lot of time checking the tide. And all for 20 bucks. It was a little cumbersome to program in my location for the tide function, but you do that once and you are done (assuming you are using it in one geographic area)

Failure of a Favorite
This is the second one of these watches that I have purchased for my son. The first was when he was 6 and learned about tides and the moon in kindergarten. He saw it at Walmart, loved it, and wore it on his little wrist until it died just about the time he turned 14 in Sept of ’23. I purchased the second one right away. Today, May 11, 2024, it died. First one–8 years. Second one–8 months. Casio is a great brand, normally. This is a sad day to see such a huge failure from a favorite.

tide info not precise enough
I bought this watch for the tide function. It appears the indicators on the tide graph only move every several hours making the tide function nearly useless. The rest of the watch is worth the $20 price.

Incredible Timepiece
Such a great watch. I literally smile every time I look down at it. The only difficult thing is setting the “lunitidal interval”, which requires some math to get the tide times correct.

3 months top before leak
Returned to factory after started to fog up regularly this spring.Used about 6 times snorkling over a couple of months. The factory sent me a letter saying basically to bad. This is the first casio which failed me in decades. I would say no more. The company changed and quality changed. No more Casio’s!!!! for me.

The display has extremely high contrast and is clear, crisp, and easy to read in all conditions and from all angles. Much better than I had expected, in fact. Much better than the photos indicate. The watch itself is comfortable to wear and the case is appropriately sized. The graduated bezel is purely decorative in the absence of a sweeping second hand. The watch labels are far more understated than is typical of Casio watches, which is most appreciated. The splashes of blue in the LCD display (date and tide fields) make it look more interesting than it would otherwise have been. The lunar phase and tide indications are fun additions that add a lot of value to the watch when one lives in a coastal, maritime city. For fun, Casio should place a decal that depicts the most prominent lunar features over the portion of the display that depicts the moon. Or perhaps some modder could post a video on YouTube and sell the 1/4â diameter decal required…The backlight (a point of light on the right side of the display) makes me appreciate the Indiglo lighting on Timex watches a lot more, but is acceptable. The push buttons are very easy to push compared to many other watches and the sequence required to access watch functions is fairly intuitive. Make certain to read and retain the manual, though.Overall, highly recommended!
