The face is pretty, although very obviously 3D printed plastic – no real sheen, and no paint finish, because it is made of solid 3D printer material. I can get past that, for a $9 watch, but…
Incredibly enough, the band (which is a strange, disgusting shade of baby-s#@t brown) has the cutouts for quick-release bars. I thought that I would just keep the watch and switch the band out. That is when I found out why this watch is a no-go.
The bars for the band are *glued on.* You cannot remove them and switch the band out. That hideous band is the one and only band you can use, unless you risk bending the cheap metal of the lugs in order to break the bars off and replace the band. (The band itself is glued to the bar just as the bar is glued to the watch lugs.)
I am shocked that I couldn't find any other reviews that mention the band being glued to the watch. Maybe the one I got was a one-off? It seems weird that the quick release slots in the band (which would be a selling point) didn't have the corresponding spring-loaded bars with the handle to release them, but gluing the band to the bars and then the bars to the watch is a level of screwed up I wasn't prepared for.
Hard pass. Returning this immediately.
