Great watch for the price! Pretty, accurate and comfortable.
It is stay superbly accurate just by positioning it differently at night when I sleep. Roughly speaking, mine gain about 1-2sec overnight when laying face up and lose about 1-2 sec overnight at 12 o’clock up position. The fit and finish is excellent, the titanium makes and instant micro bracelet adjustment makes it extremely comfortable to wear. It’s so comfortable I have fell asleep with it several times. Due to the more low-key dial design it’s slightly more difficult to read very quickly (i.e. when driving). I was actually a bit worried about the orange bezel markings being a little odd when seeing it on screen but it actually looks good in real life. The rotating bezel is a bit gritty when purchased but after some breaking in it became smoother. Finally, I would prefer a ceramic bezel over the anodized aluminum one but that’s a very minor personal preference.

Great value from an under the radar brand.
I am a watch enthusiast and have owned dozens of watches through the years. My rotation currently consists of a couple of automatic Seiko divers and a Tudor Pelagos. I enjoy Titanium watches and was really struck by the look of this watch and the perfect wearable size. Upon receiving the watch I was very impressed by the quality of the finishing as well as the features at this price point. Mido seems to go out of their way not to market these watches in the U.S. The quality of the brushing and polishing is equal to the Omega Planet Ocean I owned. The dial is fantastic. The movement with it’s 80 hour power reserve has been running very accurately on my wrist so far. The bracelet was easy to size and is extremely comfortable. It has a quick adjust ratcheting clasp which is a feature I love on watches.Just a word of caution if you have not owned Titanium watches: They feel very lightweight, which some perceive as cheap feeling. The surface also reacts differently than Stainless, sometimes showing marks and fingerprints as it oxidizes.

    Mido Ocean Sta
Overall, not a bad watch for the price. I own a few other Swatch Group brand watches and I was not disappointed with the Mido. The Mido brand is overlooked Swiss watch. The watch I received runs about -3 sec a day so not to bad. I like the light weight feel of the titanium, and the power reserve for my watch ended up being 82 hours.

    Very comfortable on the wrist
Very comfortable on the wrist. Yes it is titanium, so it does scratch easier than steel. After several days of wear, it shows that…. but it’s titanium, you should expect it to show minor surface rub. It should patina nicely with time. The movement is nice, the power reserve and accuracy are as claimed. I’ll be interested to see how it handles a servicing in a few years. The little details on this watch really stand out, the bracelet is superb. Rounded edges, polishing work is nice. The clasp and it’s nice divers extension are comfortable and thin. The dial is a very nice matte finish that really stands out from the standard 3 handed diver herd.If I were to offer design improvements to Mido… brighter longer lasting lume would be appreciated, but the lume is decent. And perhaps offer that wonderful brushed blue dial with the titanium.

Fantastic watch. It is very detailed and precise. Its presentation both in and out of the box were professional. There is minor heft to it, despite it being titanium. Too bad every metal band is not like this; links are removed with a small screwdriver, not a punch tool. The expansion of the band that can be done after adjustments (which is for use while wearing the watch over a wet suit) is helpful for everyday use also as wrists expand. NOTE: while MIDO claims the band is 20mm, and the core of it is, where it connects is 22mm; if you are looking for an after-market band or NATO strap, go for 22mm.

    Light Weight Great Looking Diver
[Purchased 2/4/18 from Amazon partner RDBrands for $645.00]This is my first, but not only titanium watch. It is very comfortable and light weight. The instant micro-adjustment mechanism on the clasp is convenient and easy to use. The Ocean Star is pictured on my 7-inch (181mm) wrist. Accuracy has been about +/- 5 to 8 SPD.I like the stylized starfish design on the back of the case too.Titanium, Sapphire crystal, instant micro-adjustment, Swiss, 80-hour power reserve: so many positives.

    Extremely poor fit and finish!
I owned this watch for exactly as long as it took to print out the Amazon return label. In person this watch looks like something I should be able to pull out of a Cracker Jack box. The fit and finish are detestable. The bezel was half a minute misaligned, and so cheaply affixed, that simply moving my arm around caused it to alter its setting, and yet, somehow, the thing is nearly impossible to turn.Overall one of the worst watches I’ve ever seen, hard to believe they charge this much for such poor quality.

    Great daily
Fits great (with the adjustment clasp), is super light weight and lasts forever once fully wound. Been wearing it every day since I bought it and I have probably 16 watches. It just wears well.

MIDO has been a good brand as a swatch group member. really good movement, nice design and excellent price for a titanium diver. I’m just a bit surprised to find the timer dial is not perfectly aligned, and the second hand’s tail is slightly bent. I have a few swatch group brand watches, this is so far the first one to see imperfection like this. Even swatch quartz watches around 100 quids never had these issues. In doubt I got a lemon, I went to a shop carries MIDO and it appears most of the MIDO watches have similar issues, therefore, it’s a manufacture quality control issue.Still like the watch as said, for 600 pounds, I don’t think there is another swiss made 80 hours power reserve, day date titanium diver exists on the market. And for some of you cares, the time accuracy of my piece over 3 weeks is about -2 to +4 seconds per day.
