Being a beta in a world where alphas are meant for omegas is hard.
Then Love McKinley had to go and make things even harder by falling in love with not one, but two alphas—completely off the script she had for her life. Add in one giant birth-control screw-up, and she can’t let herself think too hard about what might happen if her alphas meet their omega. After all, one perfectly compatible scent could rip away everything in the blink of an eye.
Life as the longtime girlfriend of one of the most popular rock bands of a generation isn’t easy to begin with, and Love isn’t about to crumble when things get tough. Toss in a couple of alpha security guys who aren’t intimidated in the least by her baby bump, a fight for social justice, and a father motivated only by appearances? Things are about to get really interesting.
No Omega Needed is book three in the Ruined Records series. It features a new FMC and love interests. If you start here, you’ll get the full scope of their relationship, but you will miss out on some of the backstory.

I’ve read all her books but missed this one. I’m t wasn’t my favorite overall but it definitely worth the read. I liked seeing the characters grow from the first two books.

I really enjoyed the concept of this book. Baby was a strong and relatable lead character. I enjoyed the dynamics of her harem as it worked its self out. I actually couldnât put it down since I wanted to know what would happen next. Good writer

Not a great finish
I read and liked the other two books in this series about Lyric. This one focused on Baby Love and I was curious. First, this probably won’t make sense if you try to read it as a standalone. Second, if it’s been a bit since you read the first books it will start off with a lot of jumping around. Even with having recently read the other books, it comes across as very choppy at first. That does smooth out. However, there are discrepancies. Before, Love was worried about how much attention both Dexter and Issac were paying to the omega Oakley. Now, she doesn’t know Oakley is an omega and Issac doesn’t seem to be paying her any extra attention. Also, the entirety of the book is based off a stupid miscommunication between Love and Dexter that Issac barely tries to fix and then has the attitude of he’s not going to interfere in their relationship. That’s not how a healthy multi-partner relationship works and as the main alpha he should definitely be making more of an effort to not have the pregnant lady so stressed! He eventually apologizes and admits he’s wrong about that at the very end of the book. There were a few other minor inconsistencies. If you want a book with a pregnant woman and lots and lots of sex scenes, then get this book.

No Omega Needed
This has been a spectacular story and a continuation of the first two books although you could read this as a standalone , I think it would be a better experience to have read the first two before this.Several subjects have been addressed, ADHd,Autism, insecurity, and drug use.Baby Love McKinley is the Fmc and a beta she is in love with not one but four Alphas. She is always worried that she is not good enough and thinks they will always find their omega and leave her.Her best friend Lyric Sinclair an omega does everything in her power to create a large pack family.

Slow but good
This one goes round the houses but eventually gets there and that’s why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. There’s something to be said for angsty stories, but too much for too long is kinda tiresome. There are great characters in this that I wish she had expanded on more than she did. Although she told the story of her main male character with compassion and led you through his addictions well, just a little lengthy. I just wish the others had more room in this story.Loved the ending, but wished we’d had more of that than what was given. The other books were better for me.

Betaâs need love too & happily ever after
Iâm a big fan of the omega verse series and all the authors who write them. Jillian West does it best though I think with this spin off. Itâs a perfect blend of what itâs like to feel like your enough without being cheesy.I love instant love and soul mates coming together. Yet, this book has the falling in love melty goodness I never truly see in a lot of books. I think having the character preggos was the best because you got to see where there emotions really came from. Plus it had all the alpha growling goodness in it that every omega verse book does best. Also I truly think having a book based off being the underdog in the omega verse series gain my respect more.

So, this is the third book in the Ruined Records universe. I already read Lyric’s story, and Riley’s. I was excited for Love’s story. Of course, I will not spoiler anything. So, this is very general. For now, I really can say I was into this book and the story. I already loved the characters from the few glimpses I got in the Ruined Records duet. So, I was excited to read the entire story. I wasn’t disappointed. So, much I can say. Love is a beta, pregnant and has her own demons. But she is funny, strong and smart as well. And she loves her alphas strongly and unconditionally. The alphas of the story are first Issac and Dexter, but like already hinted in Lyric’s story, there are two more. Vince Riggs and Jude Walker. I loved them all. Though, Dexter was difficult at times. But in the end they grew together, and overcame their demons. It was amazing to see how they all come together as a family. A really great chemistry. It was an incredible experience. And I can’t wait to read more in the future.

We met Love McKinley in the previous Ruined Records duet, and I am so glad that she got her own book. Love is a Beta in a world of Omegas and Alphas and is torn between fighting for what and who she wants and resigning herself to what society and fate determines she deserves. No Omega Needed is a beautiful revere harem romance with plenty of drama, angst and steam. Love is pregnant and part of a MFM polyamorous relationship with two wild rock stars, though their dynamic shifts and the chemistry heats up with the addition of two growly dominant security guards. No Omega Needed is the perfect balance of romance and spice and another brilliant omegaverse book by this author.
