Excellent strap for Pelagos FXD
Got this strap for daily use on my Pelagos FXD, to prevent wear & tear on the original OEM Tudor strap.Very impressed with this strap. Almost a direct copy of the Tudor strap! It is a little thinner and more pliable, and the hook & loop fasteners perhaps a little less refined. But it is comfortable, seems well made, and looks perfectly good on the watch! For a cost of about 1/30th of the OEM strap. Not sure how well it will hold up, but at this price I’ve ordered a couple to have on hand. I have taken two photo’s showing this strap fitted on my Pelagos FXD, with the OEM Tudor strap next to it. Pretty much spot on, and worn on my 7.5″ wrist the hook and loop fastener is nearly fully hidden. They actually repositioned the velcro slightly from the original, which for me makes a near perfect fit. Overall I’m thrilled to find this strap, and very impressed with the quality for a very reasonable price.

Comfortable and Practical
For years I wore an Army issue watch. Unfortunately, it eventually died and a couple of repair shops said it wasn’t worth the money to repair (rats!). I bought a Citizen that looked remarkably like it, but the green woven band was too stiff and the holes too far apart to be comfortable. I found this and thought, “Why not?” It looks authentic and the Velcro makes it infinitely adjustable. It is soft and doesn’t pinch. For less than $10 it’s a great buy!

Great looking and comfortable
The good:I bought this because I was looking for a good watch strap that would match the rugged appearances of my field watch. Itâs great looking and matches really well.The bad:The Velcro is a type with less pile. This might add to the longevity of the Velcro but the grip between the two is very weak and questionable in a rough and tough environment. I have had it for a week and have often pressed the Velcro together out of fear. The grip might be weaker than expected, but it hasnât come undone yet.Time will tell. Not a bad band at all for $10.

Use with FXD
Warning for those buying to use on the FXD. A few of difference make this potentially a hazard. I included some images in my review to show what I am describing. 1) The hole in the loop that the end travels through is angled in a way to help catch the end of the strap when the velcro is undone. 2) there is heavy stitching on the end so there is a bit more effort required for it to travel through the loop. 3) the width of the strap is slightly more narrow than the OEM strap so the strap slides back and forth more easily. Whatâs the problem you may ask. Well this all means that you need to be very careful with this 3rd party strap as the watch essentially slides right off once the velcro is undone. I believe the OEM strap was intentionally designed with those features not present on this aftermarket strap for safety purposes. To prevent dropping the watch unintentionally.Everything else about the strap is fine but these 3 things are the reason I am returning it.

Velcro comes apart when wet
Besides the fact that the Velcro comes apart when wet, itâs a comfortable watchband. Was swimming in a lake and the watchband came loose and the watch and band fell off my wrist. By the grace of the good Lord, the water was clear enough and shallow enough that I was able to find the watch.

Decent strap.
I received this watch strap, and itâs not bad for $10. Recommended especially if you do t want to donât want to spend the $200 for the Tudor strap.

if you find something on Amazon that’s very inexpensive it’s probably junk. This watchband is junk.

Way too long for a mortal sized wrist of 7â.I cut the stitches on the hook pad, cut it to length and re sewed it. Worn it a handful of times and will look like garbage in no time.Waste of money. Price should be $12 tops.
