This watch is soooo nice
I bought this as a Christmas present for me. It is so nice… OLEVS makes the nicest watches. Their stuff always looks like a million bucks. I frequent their stuff—lots of compliments. I am so pleased to have self-winding watches. I had a Rolex Daytona. It was self-winding.

sturdy and classy watch
BAD POINTS: Instructions were for several different models. The one I wanted was in the back of the booklet. Nothing about how the clasp worked is in there and it took me far too long to figure it out. The watch came encased in protective cling which didn’t want to let go. The ‘moon phases’ is inaccurate as it’s just sun and moon alternating each day, just in case you don’t know if it is AM or PM. Day of week and day of month are very tiny.GOOD POINTS: Huge clock face. The band fits a 9″ wrist perfectly. Tools included to remove links for custom fit. After two weeks of wearing it, it’s still shiny and new. There is a window on the back to see the gears inside.

Beautiful Watch, but . . .
I’m updating this review and lowering to one star. Would be zero if possible.Another 2 weeks of owning this junk watch. I’m now having to wind it daily and reset the time. The only reliable feature is that it’s going to stop in the middle of each night. Piece of junk. Don’t buy.This is a beautiful watch but not very reliable timepiece. This is a self winding watch which requires you to wear it 24/7 in order to keep working. i wanted a nice watch which looked good, kept good time, was affordable and a bit nicer.I work a standard M-F, 8-5:00 workweek. I wear my watch daily for work and on RARE occasions after work or weekends if going out. My watch typically sits on the bedroom dresser after work hours and weekends. I’ve had this watch about 3 weeks now and have had to wind it and reset the watch three times during the time I’ve had it. If you are not wearing it for more than a day the watch runs down and and comes to a complete stop. You then need to manually wind and reset.This was a concern after reading other reviews. I tried to find the same watch with a quartz movement and battery for this very reason. But this particular watch only comes in a mechanical self winding version. They have ONE other model with a similar look that has a quartz movement with battery. That watch is made in China; this one is made in the USA. This is another factor that convinced me try the self winding mechanical version. Big mistake, I should have looked at other brands and manufacturers. It turns out this was a regrettable impulse buy based on looks but not practical. It is not a reliable timepiece. Lets face it a watch’s function is to reliably tell the correct time; if you’re not willing to manually wind it and reset the time and dates every Monday morning this is not a practical timepiece. I would NOT buy this again for this reason.

Great Watch until it wasn’t
I got the watch in mid December for a Christmas gift and I really liked it. The return time frame ended and 4 weeks later the watch stopped working. I took it to a local jeweler and he let me know that amount it would take the fix the watch would be more than the watch was worth. Maybe mine was just an anomaly, that way I would rate it a 3, as I really enjoyed it until the day to just stopped working, which was only 2 1/2 months after the purchase.

It’s Great better than it looks in Picture but it’s not water resistant, not even splash of water, so beware of that
