Love the watch hate the price on amazon!!!
Ok first things first – The planet ocean chrono is a beauty to look at and is one of the best chrono watches in the market today. It’s a heavy duty one and I’ve had the pleasure of owning the predecessor which was released way back in 2007 (the orange bazel one). The biggest noticable difference between the two is the older version had three chronos whilst this one has two in addition to the fact that the current model is a bit heavier and bulkier.I have been looking at the buying this one and after comparing the price at various other sites realized the average works out to usd 6250. Which is really a whopping 1500 dollars more expensive on amazon. That’s just unbelievable. So if u really want to pick this one three suggestions 1) visit a showroom and have a feel of it on your wrist (this is a watch for life) 2) see if the 232.30.46.51.01.003 is more to your liking (the digit 12 is in orange) or try the older version which isn’t that bad and could be about 700 USD lesser (gross price) and finally 3) do your research on sites that sell the watch and find a reliable one if you intend to buy it. Am sure that some of them might not be reliable however please know that the omega stores would give you the same discount sometimes so don’t feel shy asking the sales person for a heftier discount. 6250 should be the maximum you should pay for this.

An excellent quality watch in every way.
I’m a big Omega fan, and I love the quality and style of this watch. The new versions of the Planet Ocean models have the beautiful ceramic bezels, and the detailing and workmanship are on par with the three Rolex watches I have owned, which is to say very good. These are large, heavy watches, so be aware of that if you have a small wrist. Also, because of the softness in the Swiss watch market these days, the prices vary wildly on these. Even though the MSRP is $8,200.00, they typically go for $4,900 – $5,600 on the discount market. I watched Amazon and the other sites for months on this model, and ended up getting this one through Amazon for $4,575 on a special, so it pays to be patient. At that price it didn’t make sense to buy pre-owned when you can pay that little for new.

This precise master time piece super high quality and weight of elegance and durability that will last your life time and beyond I have a small wrist but this time piece feel and look natural for me it not too bulky to be well notice I have other watches tag and movado I got rid of them when I got this one, because the timing is not accurate and not as well crafted as this omega and most of all I love the see through back of this watch and you can let it rest for several days and it still not lag in minute or second this will be my one and only watch that I’m gonna own and wear and I love the weight of this watch the way it feel. In my opinion if anyone wanted a well balance timepiece this price is what you have to take into account instead of owning several different watch just focus on one the one you that matter most.
