Update: I am revising and replacing my initial review, as I noted that the watch didn’t work in terms of being able to set the time or have the secondhand move.I found it difficult to believe that a brand name watch, such as Perry Ellis, would arrive Dead on Arrival, so I went back to see if other reviewers were experiencing the same problem that I did. This is something that I rarely do but getting a brand-new watch that didn’t work at all just didn’t sit right with me. Fortunately, I read a review that commented that there is a small plastic clip between the crown and the watch that needs to be removed to activate the watch. This information is not noted anywhere in the provided manual, so my thanks go to a fellow reviewer who noticed it in my picture image and commented accordingly. It’s easy to miss, as I obviously did, but as a result will be removing my incorrect negative comments on this watch–which is the fair and right thing to do considering the mistake was mine.I have attached another photo, with the removable clip to the right side of the watch for better presentation. I didn’t notice it initially, and the manual didn’t help.There are a lot of nice things to like about this watch from its styling, appearance, packaging, power reserve and brand name. It’s elegant, classy, and affordable, and the unique feature of being solar powered with a 4-month battery charge is enticing. It has an attractive strap, and the watch has nice gold accents. Per the price on the outside of the box, it is being sold below list price, which makes it an incredible value. I love having a watch that doesn’t need winding. Please note that the secondhand has a low battery movement alert to notify you that the watch needs additional solar charging, which is a nice feature.Recommended. Country of Origin China. The finish is very good and it makes an excellent gift. It came with clear and concise directions which made it easy to set up. The screen is very easy to read and the strap is comfortable. All materials are of excellent quality too, this is a great watch.

Fyi: When you buy this watch it may come with a white clip inside the crown which needs to be removed. It looks like from the picture of the one star review it was not removed, hence the watch wouldn’t work.My reviewI like the style of this watch. Looks nice, came packaged well and in a nice box. Good price on Amazon. Big buying point is that it is solar. I like the green and wanted to add that color to my collection. Either dressy or casual wear. Water resistant only. Negatives are fake leather band and Chinese movement.

Nicely Crafted Solar Powered Watch!
I decided to get this particular watch because it has a unique design and is Solar Powered. I went with the green option, I like how the green on the face of the watch and green band look with the gun metal bezel. The watch was easy to adjust the time and feels well made. The watch has been keeping the correct time and holding a charge. In the box that the watch comes with, the box states that Solar Collection never needs a battery change. One thing that I noticed as soon as I opened the box was a funky smell coming from the Vegan Leather which is rather strong.Overall the watch looks nice and works well.
