I had to send mine back and order a replacement. When I tried to remove links from the first one the pins simply would not budge. I even took it to my neighborhood jeweler and she couldn’t get them to pop out either.
The replacement came quickly, however, and I had no problem removing links from that one. I love the look of this watch!
I want to start out by saying that the biggest thing this watch has going for it is its price. If it weren't priced how it is, I don't know that I could recommend it. But because it is as inexpensive as it is, I feel like you are getting a lot for your money.
Pros:
– The watch is nice looking. On the surface and from afar, it definitely looks expensive
– The packaging is nice. The faux leather box feels classy and the watch is packaged well.
– The inclusion of a tool to remove links is a really nice touch and super convenient.
– The low profile butterfly clasp is a cool addition
Cons:
– The watch feels a little cheap in the hands (which it is! Less than $40!) It's heavier than expected but light enough to feel cheap
– The movement is very loud
– The movement is cheap. Because of this, it's not easy to set the date. You have to sort of hold it in just the right spot because it doesn't have a click
– There is a lot of play in the bracelet, and I expect that after more wear, it will only get worse
If you're looking for an attractive watch at a very low price point, I think you'll be happy with this.
