Classy and not bulky!
My first Rado watch! While many know Rado for their famous Ceramic watches as well as the mesmerizing True Open Heart timepiece, they also carry a very classic line of watches in the Coupole line.Usually wearing an automatic watch entails a big heft of a thick case housing all the automatic elementsânot this one. I have bought and ended up selling on a few Tissot, Tag Heuer, and Rolex watches and can honestly say this is one of the lightest and thinnest automatic watches Iâve seen my husband wear. It maintains that classic look of a Longines heritage but also with a touch of modern elegance and clean sophistication as well. The styling on this watch is remarkably well-executedâitâs all about a simple, classic, clean, yet elegant look. My favorite visual aspect of this timepiece is the lovely thatch/waffle weave texture on the dial which really accentuates the long blue, leaf-style metal hands, chrome indices, and framed date window off the 3:00. The texture along with slightly raised indices on the dial really gives the watch a more interesting element and subtle flash whenever the light catches it. In my opinion, that subtle texture just elevates the watch enough above the otherwise classic styling to give it depth and a hint of modern sophistication which I really like. The Rado label is accentuated by the anchor logo slightly above it and the logo carries over to the crown as well. The black leather bracelet is the perfect level of sheen to complement the watch without looking plastic and features a lovely deployant pushbutton clasp. The leather strap is easily adjusted and does not require cutting. The simple yet handsome stainless-steel case comes in at 41mm with just 10.3mm thickness and weighing 72 grams. It has a lovely sapphire crystal coating with antireflective coating on the inside as well as a transparent sapphire case back window which allows you to see the 25-jewel movement through the back. Itâs rated water resistance is 5 bar (or 50M) and boasts a generous power reserve of up to 80 hours when fully powered. One uniquely Rado quirk about this watch that I didnât notice until after Iâd worn it a few times is the free-floating anchor emblem under the 12â position on the dialâit moves! I noticed it in different positions and thought, âhey, itâs a power reserve indicatorâ but It rotates freely. After some research, I discovered that the rotating logo is attached to the dial with a post that fits through a dial-mounted bearing. The logo moves freely, emulating the watchâs automatic movement. This version was used starting in 1962- older products will have just a printed anchor symbol. So now you know something that sets Rado automatic watches apart from others. All in all, this is a very elegant, sophisticated, and simple timepiece that boasts a very light and thin case making it a very comfortable watch to wear. A definite plus for any watch collection!

This item is not working as i expected.
I bought this watch 3 months ago. At the beginning it was working just fine. But after 3 months of usage, the timing is not accurate . Every time I adjust it, it falls behind an hour or two. I paid $900.00 for it and it looks like that money is gone down the drain. Now I donât know who do I ask for my money. I paid a lot for it. And I will not recommend anyone to buy it.
