I wanted a fashionable watch and liked the price but the reason watches often cost more is they have lighted dials you can read at night and are water resistant. Those things may warrant paying more.

Update: Not what I hoped..at all
This watch is pretty and functional. It comes with two clasps, and for most, one can be removed and it will fit perfectly. I still had to remove one additional link. The date is big enough to read easily. The bling is just enough without overpowering.UPDATE:I’ve had this watch for a few months now and must say I’m a bit disappointed. Even though the watch is water resistant, I take it off for showering and swimming. I don’t know how it happens, but it keeps getting moisture on the inside of the glass right in the center. As of today it has been 6 days and counting. It has happened a few times now. I picked this name brand because it has a good rep, so I thought. I”m not happy, because now I have to get another watch. I had my Seiko for about twenty years, and lost it some how. But that was a quality watch. I just had to change the batteries.This is the end result of the watch. I did get the warrenty, so maybe I should file a claim. I am very disappointed.
