I love NATO watch straps and have quite a collection. In my opinion they look extremely smart on a sports or military style watch. They tend to be durable, easy to clean, very easy to swap and change and in the event that one of the spring bars fails the watch stays firmly attached to the strap.This WatchGecko strap has all of those qualities. It is very nicely made; the stitching is excellent and finished very well. I really like the brushed buckle and strap loops I think they look particularly smart and the brushed finish is less likely to show scratch and scuff marks.The strap looks very good in the NTTD colours and suits the black dial on my Seiko chronograph. The strap is a little bit stiff but Iâm sure will loosen up over time.So why 4 stars â well despite the fact that this is a nicely made strap it is a tad on the expensive side at £28. Itâs for that reason and that reason alone that I have deducted a star. However if youâre looking for a quality NATO strap, maybe as a gift, then in my opinion this should be on your short list.

Strap seems like itâs good quality but no spring bars for £28 is ridiculous. Especially for an uncommon lug width like 19mm.

It’s a basic watch strap that feels and functions as a basic strap but is priced way higher compared to others with the same quality. Get it whenever it is on a huge discount if you want this brand’s straps. Otherwise, nothing wrong with it, gets the job done.
