Inexpensive, but refined, and it shows the quality. Seiko 5 movement is well praised, so it is a must-have for those who like watches. Having seen this, I will not buy another “fashion watch”, which likely have China Seagull movement (state developed).Came to me in perfect condition, and it’s authentic.

Slows down suddenly for no apparent reason
I bought this watch to replace a Seiko kinetic on which the band broke, but had worked flawlessly for about 20 years. This replacement watch, after about 6 months, has had three instances in the last month where it loses 30-45 minutes over about a 4 hour time frame. I called Seiko customer service, and was told “unless you’re doing 200 jumping jacks, the capacitor is not going to stay charged.” I am fairly active through the day, and certainly don’t feel I should need to do 200 jumping jacks just to keep it operational and reliable. Also, the watch runs overnight for ten hour stretches without any kinetic input and keeps excellent time.Although I have been a long time fan of Seiko, the response from customer service was condescending and lackluster at best, and not what I would expect from what should be a world class company. I am going to give the watch another chance, specifically paying attention to my movement levels, but if it slows again, I am done with this watch and will replace it with another brand.

Nice Watch but, all Instruction In Japanese and no warranty?
Very nice and solid watch. The loss of a star is the lack of any instructions written in English, even though the outside of the box has the make and model in English. There are three pieces of paper, one pink, one yellow and one white, plus the instructions. I believe the may say something important as there is a warning sign on one and maybe the other is a warranty card? Regardless, I don’t speak or read Japanese so I had to figure out that to change the DAY, you pull to one click, like the DATE change, but you wind backwards to change the day. I also know not to change the time near midnight from other mechanical watches. Why they would be sent to America without English documentation is beyond me.I came back to Amazon and purchased the 4year protection plan after the fact and hope it was linked to this product as there doesn’t seem to be a way to register the watch for a warranty.

Hace unas semanas adquirà el reloj seiko 5 en tonalidad gris y me percate no venia la tarjeta de certificado de garantÃa la cual se localiza al final del manual de instrucciones en un sobre blanco.Adquirà otro reloj en otro lugar y me percate venÃa una tarjeta al final del manual de instrucciones en el cual especificaba la fecha de compra y espacios para llenar por garantÃa.Anexo fotografÃas del modelo nuevo adquirido y la tarjeta que hago mención.

Value for money i got this watch for around 12500rs this is the best looking Swiss automatic watch i can get at this prize I had been waiting for this watch for prize drop since 5months but didn’t expect this big drop thank you Amazon for great Indian sale and its perfect size of this watch makes this look like bracelet and grey dial gives luxury feel, performance wise it’s works as long as we wear it but no power reserve and not water resistant but I am more than satisfied with this watch at this prize….thanks seiko…

Attention au réglage du bracelet, le démontage des maillons n’est pas évident du tout si on a pas regardé une vidéo ! Sinon, la montre est superbe !
