    Great watch!
I love Seiko automatics! I have several skx’s and wanted a prospex turtle. This one came in all the original boxes (rectangular) with protective plastics in place. It also came with the warranty card and manuals. I love the color of this watch and wish the metal band was better. I installed the 22mm rubber band from one of my skx’s. Fit perfectly…I wish that I could get a miltat band in this color. This watch was on sale at a great price so, I couldn’t resist this limited edition watch. The turtle is a bit less jagged than the skx and maybe seems flatter? I really like this watch, the color is really cool and think that a really nice leather band will look super cool with it.

    Beautiful watch
I have a 6 3/4 inch wrist. This is a beautiful watch. It fits and wears comfortably. The blue gradient face is beautiful, especially in sunlight. I was unsure about buying a watch in all black metal turns out it’s a good looking watch.

Too much hype, value not there
I have several Seikos and have even assembled two from scratch using all modder parts.Having said that I was disappointed to receive this STO ion plated black iteration of their popular turtle diver. For the price, fit and finish was poor. Jangly pin/collar bracelet, misaligned chapter ring, barely marginal ion plating and the no AR/hardlex crystal they used makes it look like a cheap watch. While I love how their turtle case fits my wrist, and I love a black watch, this is just not worth the asking price.

    Unique Seiko Turtle
Absolutely beautiful. I’m a huge Seiko Turtle fan and saw this watch at a shop 2 days ago. Had to have it! Amazon got it to me in 1 day. The watch is even more beautiful in person than the pic.

Sapphire please Seiko!!! Great watch BTW.
Great watch, it looks better than the photos.Cons:1. Hardlex crystal: reflects too much light and it got scratched within 1 week of usePros1. Beautiful watch.2. Great value.3. Magnífic in-house movement, handwinding, hackeable…4. Solid watch. It feels tougher than my tissots (and better made).5. Black PVD coating is great. I have been using it daily for 2 months and it has no scratches. Not even the bracelet.6. Bracelet is better than what reviewers said. It is comfortable and good value for the money.7. BUY IT you wont regreat.

SRPD11 review. Cost too high for what Seiko delivers. Still a good watch though.
I could not decide on an Orient Neptune or a Seiko Prospect SRPD11, so I bough both and this is my opinion; best for construction, features and bang for buck is in my opinion the Neptune. Seiko is resting on their lurels while Orient is all in-house with products. Better with attention to detail and quality control. IE: use of sapphire vs. hardlex crystal. Same parent company group, but operated independent ly. The Seiko is a good watch, just not up to Orient standard. I am keeping both watches, but guess which one I will be wearing the most. Seiko just needs to update quality, design and pricing.
