Have owned a few Seiko’s and Hamiltons, this one checked a lot of boxes. 38mm but prominent, bracelet fits great and sizing wasn’t a bad experience. Great lume and movement is about +10 on avergae

What a wonderful watch this is!It’s not just that it has a 6R35 Seiko watch movement with a 70 hour power reserve. And frankly, I was surprised that they didn’t make it just a little bit fancy when I look through the exhibition back because they didn’t. Seiko is apparently very modest and not into flash although occasionally they will go tint or staying the rotor and that makes it look quite nice and I was hoping they would do something nice like that. But it’s okay. It’s still a nice exhibition back and the face of the watch is delicious! It’s understated and classy and beautiful and well-balanced and excellently designed and a real pleasure to look at. The balance of the design structure of the face of this watch in this color combo that I picked is just… What’s a better description for knockout with a much smoother sounding word that sounds creamy at the same time? This is a classy watch with a great movement and simplified understated taste of design while still looking stunning gorgeous all at once. At a 70 hour power reserve is a real treat. Thanks Seiko for producing this one. They say it’s a retroversion of the 1959 Alpinist. I have the double crown alphanist with a green background and gold highlighted time markers and it’s in my opinion the classic style of an alphanist. So call this in alphonist or not call it a retro 1959 or not. Whatever you want to call it. It’s simply a stunningly understated gorgeous watch with a 70 hour power reserve
